We looked toothless throughout most of the match. It says a lot when you need to rely on a fullback having a blinder to even pose a threat.

We need to drop Cisse, he's really ****. Our subs didn't really do a lot either.

We took a gutless approach with the 4-5-1 formation at ****ing home.

    Ratings -

Krul - 4 - Couldn't do a lot about the goals. Some good closing down of players. **** distribution.

Janmaat - 9.5 - Best performance by a fullback in a while. Could have rescued the points himself!

Colo - 3.5 - Poor. Got absolutely raped by Ighalo.

Mbemba - 6 - Not great defensively, but some good pressing and runs up the pitch. Hopefully he'll be an asset once we get our **** together. Hard working and technical.

Haidara - 2 - At fault for first goal, poor positioning, ****e crossing.

    Colback - 3 - Pants.

Sissoko - 5 - Worked hard in certain periods of the game, good assist, but lazy and half hearted for most of the game.

Wijnaldum - 5.5 - Anonymous for most of the first half, some good runs and work in the 2nd half though. I think we're having difficulty deciding where is the best position for him.

Thauvin - 4.5 - Some good flashes in the first half, a couple of good shots, but mostly poor.

Perez - 6.5 - Worked very hard for most of the game while on the wing. The only player who looked like he give a **** defensively apart from Janmaat. He pressed very well. Some good runs and ball control. Went missing while up front though.

    Cisse - 1 - ****ing ****.

De Jong - 3 - I forgot he was on the pitch at times.

    Obertan - n/a - Usual crap.

    Aarons - n/a - Couldn't make impact.

McClaren - 2 - Gutless starting line up. Cisse up front alone at home? COME ON MAN! Better second half but that was mainly down to certain players trying harder, not his tactics.

MOTM - Don't even need to say it.

Summary - More positivity, bench Sissoko and Cisse, ****ing lazy ****s.

Sissoko is terrible on the wing but in reality we simply haven't got any good players

We were absolutely shocking. McClaren's tactics were once again incompetent.

I think we have good individual players, but no cohesion or - as you yourself said - chemistry. There is no strategy or identity on the pitch, because the board/owner have a different agenda to the football side. It's just fundamentally broken and won't be fixed under the current structure. 2 points from 8 (Chelsea/City will have a field day) isnt good enough.

Positives? Surely, for 2nd game running, ending the game with 11 players has to be considered a massive improvement.

Perez, Mbemba, Janmaat, Wijnaldum, De Jong, Thauvin, Krul and Mitrovic are not relegation standard players. Does anyone really doubt Sissoko wouldn't look better in a different side?

You need to play us... we'll make your defence and attack look like world beaters <ok>

It looks like a confidence issue to me right now. Might sound cliché but i I think we're desperate for that one win and then we'll probably start looking better.

However, the longer this goes on the worse it gets. Sure it's early days but 2 points from 6 games...that's terrible. And with every game going by, no win, we're already going to be in the relegation fight until the end of the season with a start like this.

McClaren is the problem at present. If he drops Colback, Cisse and Sissoko, puts in Anita, Aarons and SDJ, we'll be instantly more threatening and have a chance. He can't sort that defence with Colo and Haidara - they are ****.

Here's me thinking last year we failed to win any of the first 7 games and 5 games later were 5th in the league. Just shows that a season is a marathon and not a sprint. Yes after today I'm fearing the worse but then I was after we lost 1-0 at Stoke and 4-0 at Southampton last season.

Collback is a joke. Should be at left back, until he earns the right to play in the most important position on the pitch. Basically Wij and Sissoko need to play there. I'd rather have OBertan on the flank than sissoko right now. At least obertan ****ing does something once a game that creates a good goal chance.

If we can't get three points at home to effectively a championship side then I'm afraid we are doomed.

I see no discernable difference in this team to last year's, neither in performance, attitude of players nor their approach to matches.

So pleased I cancelled that season ticket and I bet there are a fare few more now who wish they had done the same.

Yes they may have spent some money but three unproven players at this level are not going to make the difference between survival or relegation.

Yet again we have neglected strengthening key areas of the team i.e. defence and attack especially defence the worse thing we could have done was offering coco a new contract.

I mean it tells you all when mclaren says that he was the signing of the window for us.

I fear we are doomed there is so much wrong with our club that I could just go on and on, we are an absolute shambles.

It just didn´t break for you lot today, you could/should have had an early pen too, that might have changed things. I doubt it´ll be the only away game we win all season, now we´ve made a half decent start with a lot of new players.

Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope things improve for you lot! <cheers>
