Bit peeved. Perfectly good goal disallowed in a period where we were on top. That and the wonder goal meant luck was against us today. But besides from that we weren't good enough so didn't deserve nowt from the game.
At least YK will only miss one game, so I will take that as a positive, This game came too soon for us, but we are not giving ourselves a chance conceding so early, giving Bournemouth the easiest game they will have this season. Nice to get a hand from the officials for a change not.
Honestly Marcus, it's just laughable. Yep, Defoe never missed chances for previous clubs, just us Why aren't other players getting themselves in these positions? Like the old saying goes 'don't worry when he's getting himself in the right position, that's the sign of a good striker. Worry when he's not getting himself in the position to get the chances'
Yeah.... well.... you will get beat by more than us next week and places will be changed again. This is gunna be a long season
Bit harsh, he's a midfielder playing his 6th ever game in the premier league. He's not some random either, he was doing this all last season and I mentioned before the game on one of our threads that he is a danger and one to watch. He's got a hell of a shot on him. Now if I know that, how come our team seemed to be unaware how dangerous he is just outside the box?
I just typed a long proper rant, but then deleted it because it was just the same ****e as what I normally say after a crushing confidence sapping result. I decided not to waste anybodies time having to read it. I've calmed down and have decided that I am quite bored by it now. At least if the ****ers went under I might get my Saturday afternoons back and not have this feeling virtually every weekend. Not only a week of hopes being dashed but it being culminated with a slap in the face as well? Sick of it.
Didn't expect anything else once I found out that Friend was the ref. However, that does not hide the fact that we look vulnerable in defence with little or no strength in depth.
I was excited for Man Utd next week, now I'm dreading going down there. Our defence could have us one foot in the championship by the time January comes around. Bad times
