I love it when over-zealous Mousers go one wum too far, and end up getting "owned" on a Biblical scale!
I think we've got to give the lad, at least, until Christmas, before we make any firm assumptions that this season is going to be a flop. Certainly, with Son and Alli looking like they will be providing us with the kinds of options in attack that have, so far, been lacking this season, I am hopeful that Kane will hit the kind of rich vein of form he was in, last season.
If Harry Lame doesn't get over 10 goals in PL will Levy regret not selling him when United were sniffing around. also if he doesn't get more than 10 PL goals where will that leave Spurs ?
United didn't make a bid, so it isn't certain that they would have bought Kane, and certainly not for the kind of money that would have tempted Levy to sell. I doubt that anyone at Spurs is at all worried about Kane's lack of goals, at this early stage of the season.
At the moment Welbeck is worth **** all as he is injured and out for most of this season. At the moment Kane is worth slightly more than **** all as he hasn't scored in PL, and if he fails to score more than 10 PL goals this season he is likely to be worth approximately £16m - so not much in it between the two.
Yeah, that's right. Most neutrals if given a choice between Welbeck and Kane would flip a coin, because it's that close!
every player has his price and if a big club comes along then he will be sold as its a business nowadays and gone are the days of one-club players
Especially when it comes to Levy. He has a long history of selling Spurs' best players. He's probably wondering now how much Kane's value has dropped since the summer.
