This was reported in Wales Online after someone there spotted it in the Express so it's pretty much made up by a journalist. The Liverpool fans want, and will get, a big name imo.

Would be an odd move by Monk. Bit of a step down.

We're used to the media speculation, regarding Monks ability to scout then I'd say that the Club watch players from 18 24 months before they make a move (if at all) to that player so maybe we're not yet seeing the players that Monk has targeted .

Liverpool want monk is just one speculation we will see on here, We will get a lot more before xmas and more again as the season ends. Its nothing unusual for us and there is nothing we can do about it anyway. If some clubs want him then it will be Monk who will have earned the chance to decide his future and we wont have no say in the matter. I cant see him going this season but who knows about next season if he gets an offer too good to turn down, All we as fans can do is to wish him well and move on.... Live for the now is my motto as we don't know what is around the corner but we do know that Monk is the manager of Swansea city but we dont know for how long.....

    Nah I was bullshitting <ok>

Always amazes me the amount of new players who all of a sudden state they support Liverpool just to get some support with the fans.

Wow you have to be a good manager to wish well. Laudcrap was taking us down the drain so he is not worthy of any good luck and could not care where he goes as long as he is not with us......He was rubbish as everyone knows and wont touch him with a barge pole....Wish him well....not on your Nelly....

That's Brendan all over at liverpool not knowing what a good player he is and bases his theory that the more expensive the player the better he is.....Just because the board makes £100m+ available to him he thinks he should spend it all. He done better with us making a poultry £15m available. I think he has spent around £300m to £400m so far at liverpool and they are not much better than when he took over. IF AT ALL

Why would he be in ****ty,wet, windy, miserable Swansea, when he can be living the life of Reilly somewhere more hospitable?

Oh,and spending all that lovely money that your "hero" so kindly gave him. <laugh>

Ever thought of getting a life?
