Evening WJ. Think of everything you'd like about a beautiful seaside resort and then imagine none of it being there. That's Yarmouth
---------------Turnbull----------------- Beradi-----Bellusci---Cooper---Taylor ----------------Adeyami---------------- Botaka----Murphy---Cook----Dallas ----------------Antenucci------------- I would rest Bamba. He's by far the oldest but our best player, and I would give him the weekend off / keep him fresh. I'd give Turnbull a start in goal, just to keep Silvestri on his toes. I'd also start with Antenucci as apposed to Wood for the same reason. I see pace on the wings, and distribution from Murphy and Cook
It would concern me that Erwin has had no game time. I certainly wouldn't start with him, though would give him 20 mins if we were two goals to the good...
I agree mostly. Dropping Bamba is a bit touch and go for me. Haven't seen the last two games admittedly but feels like its a knee jerk reaction rather than anything else, as you say he is our best player, maybe we're expecting too much from him? I would be making Murphy play as deep as Adeyemi to help out with the defensive work and I also think he creates better from deep with Cook in front of them. Small changes I know. Botaka, know nothing about him so unsure. Wouldn't mind Byram starting there with him coming on to show us what he can do. Personally however, I would most definitely keep Wood up top. I have actually been pretty impressed with him in the games I have seen. I'm not sure what fans are expecting from him. He wins so much from doing so little imo. And while he is missing chances at the moment, don't underestimate how hard it is to get into the positions where chances are falling your way, he will start to convert more with more confidence imo. Also don't think Antenucci works as a lone striker.
Sorry El, but that's a panic lineup. It won't happen. It would undermine the confidence & morale of the team. It would give Cellino every reason to get twitchy. Looking at the detail, you cannot replace your keeper & CB captain at the same time. Botoka himself asked Rosler for a slow introduction, and not to be picked for at least a week. This does not sound like a confident starter for Saturday to me. You must have a short memory - Antenucci was slated by Redders last season for 'not learning how to play up front on his own'. It wasn't a one-off, it was a regular event. It not only highlighted Redders incompetence for repeatedly selecting him to play in a role, but highlighted that this role is not part of Antenucci's skillbase. Finally, why try a 4-1-4-1 when we've been training to play 4-3-3? We did divert to a 4-4-2, and all that did was get us bet for the first time this season. So why would playing a new formation we haven't trained for do us any good? Surely we'd be even more disorganised, even without your personnel changes? So, I'm afraid I cannot agree this selection with you. (And that's me in a good mod too! )
LOL! Of all the mis-keys to make, and of all the people to bloody notice it. A match made in Hell (for me, that is!). Good spot. And btw, pressure would not be an issue. "Is it in?" would be more appropriate! EDIT: Does this actually confirm that you do actually think that Elland is a good mod?
You might see more of it when Pakistan come to England to play cricket Jock, they'll have the "I'm British" mob turning out in thousands to support'em.
