FFS! LG Pearsons gone let it go! I lost faith in Pearson in last seasons cup tie against Villa when he proved he was tactically inept, and did not know what to do to win a game that was there for the taking. He would have took us down, if it was not for others telling him he had to change the team, thank f**k he gave in and played a wide player.

Yeah, if the Pearson sleaze scandal had run riot, Bournemouth would probably have knocked eight passed us! What a bizarre way of looking at things...

The Bournemouth match reminded me of the Burnley match from last season actually, which we won.

What negativity? Indifference is not negativity. It way too early to negative or positive about the new manager, other than the fact he's done nothing radically amazing or awful.

What about the 1/2 season bottom placed, the swearing at fans, the attacking of opposition players, the couple of hours sacking, the dickhead attitude towards the media and the defending of whoremongering racists.

Can you justify those aspects of him?

Also if none of those factors cause him to get sacked, what do you think did?

And finally why do you still care? Why can't you just support the team and manager that we have now that are vastly exceeding expectations?

WE ARE SECOND IN THE LEAGUE!!!

    WTF is positive to you?

Do you believe that NP would have us crowned as champions now or something?

Are you even a Leicester fan as it seems all you support is Saint Pearson.

... strange ... yet you were always full of Nigel's achievements ... like reaching the play-offs and winning the League 1 title <laugh> ... correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't Ranieri just 'managed' us to our best ever start to a Premier League campaign?

I've addressed all those things numerous times. Not one was a sackable offence (although you've made them sound so - attack on players etc).

I can support the team?! Way are you assuming I can't? Doesn't mean he's above criticism though, as no manager/player is or should be.

It's five games in. I'm talking long term concerns. Ranieri couldn't have started any better. But it's a start, nothing more, and it off the back of other's achievements. Not many manager get to walk into a position where as much positive work as been done before they get there.

**** me. If you're in League One, winning League One is as good as it gets!!! What more could he have done? Yeah, maybe we could have scooped the VLD Vans Trophy while we were at it.

You seriously want to compare their achievements after Ranieri's managed us for five games?!

Jeez <doh> ... we are getting plaudits all over these boards for how we are doing but not from you!!! ... the only club in front of us currently is Man City ... and you are criticising .<laugh>.. are you saying we should be top? <laugh> ... that second just isn't good enough? ... OK fair enough ... I think it's time for bed ... I'll just concede that if Nige had still been in charge we'd be top on goal difference from Man City now instead of languishing in second <laugh> ...

Do you read before you reply? No we couldn't have started any better. I'm not concerned in the short-term AT ALL.

... yes <doh> ... that was exactly what I was doing ... what I should have done of course was to compare their managerial credentials in all the leagues that they have managed in during their careers ... if I do that I then conclude that your negativity and pessimism for Ranieri seems biased and unbalanced ... perhaps emanating from some adolescent like infatuation for Nigel Pearson that blinds you to his failings both managerially and as an individual thereby rendering it impossible for you to judge his successor's tenure to date objectively and move on ... and that's about it tbh ....

    ?

I made them sound so what? Am I not stating facts? How would you describe those many indiscretions of his?

I can tell how much of a supporter you are here <doh>

You just support NP - I bet you are James Pearson as someone said you were before.

You can compare their achievements if you like - at clubs of our size.

I'll ignore the childish bit at the end which is par for the course for you when you get rattled.

No, your not stating facts. We don't know Nigel defended James. Pearson was clearly larking about with McArthur. And, while not factually incorrect, but you don't sack someone for taking a club from 20th to 13th.

Don't get the end bit, as I am only stating facts.

<laugh>Rattled ? - couldn't be more serene - I'm actually quite enjoying your obvious discomfort at the dismantling of your peculiar mix of pocket book philosophy and rhetoric this evening ... indeed I feel I've been a little more gentle / indulgent with you than some of the others on here ...

Ranieri earned the right to manage the clubs that he has by the qualities he has displayed both on and off the field ... to want to somehow restrict a comparison to fit your particular thesis is rather typical if you don't mind me saying ...

Chelsea were becoming a force before Ranieri arrived too.

... had Nigel already laid the ground work? ...

... he finished second to Arsenal's 'invincibles' ... that second thing resonates for some reason <laugh>l ...

... right I'm off to bed ... night all

No discomfort - other than over the fact that some of my fellow Foxes get so irate at people expressing opinions different to their own.

So you don't think it's right to compare like for like? Alright, fair enough. It's irrelevant anyway, as Pearson is a young manager with his figure on the pulse of modern techniques, whereas as Ranieri is infinitely more experienced. We'll never know where Pearson could have taken us, but we will know what Ranieri can do.
