Snodgrass will be back, better they take longer than not with him if it's a tricky injury to recover from, bit disrespectful to say otherwise unless you are his wife or Doctor 'Mr.Shoes'
There was an article on the official website about his recovery earlier this week but it seems to have disappeared! Did anyone else see it or was it just me?!
Ive posted before my mrs did the same thing, now she never got anywhere near the level of treatment Snodgers will be getting but it was 2 years ago now and her knee is still ****ed. Knees are complicated and there's no saying how long it will take to recover if it ever will, apparently a dislocation can and usually does cause chaos in there and completely ****s it more often than not. I said at the time it's a potential career ender.
Agreed it could potentially be career ending. Our lass is a physiotherapist and she reckons he'll be back at Easter if a) his set back wasn't too severe (and depending on what the set back was) and b) he gets back to full fitness without suffering anything else. I did the cartlidge in my knee when I was 16 in a skiing accident and rather than go to hospital, I just shook it off (in a manner of speaking). My knee is so sensitive and tender now when I knock or kneel on something it's almost unbearable. Playing football probably doesn't help either.
the knee has to move so frequently, and in different fashion that once you dislocate or **** the knee area up.. it's the part of your body that moves the most it's a 50/50 whether you can play i don't think we will see snodgrass play for us again for more than 2 games
When do the comparisons to Bullard start with Snoddy? Given the knee condition was known before we signed him.
I saw him and McGregor yesterday. I didn't realise there was a setback, otherwise I might have tried to get some info from the horses mouth. Was in Anlaby Costa... accidentally stole his tray for a moment and he wondered what I was doing. Then I realised who it was.
I remember the lad Lynch who knackered his knee playing for us a few seasons ago, he never made it back but I'm hopeful for Snodgrass as things have moved on a lot in the last few years regarding the treatment of these kind of injuries, better to stay positive than to call time on the poor fella
Lynch's injury wasn't career ending, he only played a handful of games for us after his return, but he carried on playing elsewhere for another six years.
To be fair to Brucey the City gear from the last few years isn't flattering to larger people, I know this myself!
