Nah got rich owner halfway through winning Championship, offered Barca 75 million few seasons later nad Messi accepted a 220,000 p/w contract, we may be losing near on 7.5 million a month but its all good ;) owner keeps pumping the cash in

It's a good database but it still has our debt at £35 million. I just quickly put us in the green in the editor. I just fancy starting a new game so this was handy.

    Cheers.

aye I forgot to mention that. I always clear our debt too. its only right :)

have fun with the db anyway, plenty of decent free transfers if you search for them.

sign this youngster up on a free. Jason Banton. 17 years old, one for the future :)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\tools\editor\editor.exe

start that, load the database and the update (if your using one) then search for Hull City in clubs, finances, debt... then clear.

save the changes and your good to go.

I got to 2018 before my debt was cleared completley. My promotion side was:

    -------Carroll -------
    Rosenior ------Chester -----Zaliukas ------Rossato

Stewart ------Cairney ------ Borysiuk ------ Evans

    ----------------Fryatt ------- Simpson

Subs: Mannone, Riga, Aluko, Nei, Riggott, McLean, Cullen

Worked pretty well, good pace for counters and it didn't cost much.

    I've just started again.

    I signed.

    - Mphela
    - Scott Loach
    - Reo-Coker

The midfield is quite decent on FM2011. Bullard, Mckenna ans Cairney are all great CM's.

The defence is a bit **** though. Dudgeon is absolute crap. Rosenior is way underrated.

4-4-2 eh :) dont think ive ever used a standard 4-4-2 formation in any football management game.

i like to try variations of 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.

what formations do others use ?

cant go wrong with reo-coker. made him captain and the whole team was thrilled with the decision.

how can u even think about keeping bullard on 45k a week ? :) if u want an injury prone midfielder, sell bullard for £2m and buy hargreaves on a free for 20k a week :D

I offered Bullard a new contract after promotion, to see if he would consider taking a wage cut (sometimes older players ask for less), he wanted £70,000. He then spent a week training with the kids.

Bullard's passing and creativity is just too good. I can put up with his wages by getting rid of Mcshane and Oli. I'm going with Simpson and Mphela up top. Mphela has 18 long shots, stick him on attempt shots from distance should get another 10 goals a season.

I've noticed in the past that until you get to the Premier league, pace is king. A player can be rubbish but as long as he has 18 pace (Cameron Stewart) he will get goals.

yup true, pace & acceleration in the championship is key. although saying that i only really use pace on the wings. i once had Robbie Fowler as a lone striker, his pace is about 4 i think.. still scored 20+ in a season :) basically the wingers would do all the work and pass/cross to Fowler who just tapped them in with his great finishing, composure & off the ball attributes.

Agree with the above that pace is king on football manager. Other players for less than a million who bang in goals in the championship are Kadlec and Sanogo both young lads who will be world beaters from the off. Shaqiri on loan is also a great player if you can get him. I got him on a perm 2nd season with Everton and the bloody board accepted a bid from Real Madrid 4th season for 18mil I duly resigned and applied for the liverpool job
