Announcement An anonymous benefactor has kindly added an extra £50 to the charity pot. Therefore, a prize of £30 will be awarded to the runner-up, and £20 will be awarded to the team finishing in third place. There are five places to fill... Come on West Stand Willy and B&M!
I was brought up watching rugby but tend to watch more football these days - rugby in Wales at club level has lost it's way a bit in the modern era. The World Cup always raises my interest though
I thought you were already in, Ken Good to have you on board. Just two more names needed. I'm looking to get the sweepstake teams/names completed by 3.30pm... And just to let you know we now have £5 for each team finishing bottom of the pools - a sort of generous 'wooden spoon' for those who get saddled with the minnows. Not sure if the benefactor wants to remain anonymous...
I name that benefactor as ......... MR J Corbyn due to the fact that he has recently had a rather large pay increase.
In the process of upsizIng to Washington (West Sussex) so money is very tight, but I will chuck a score at the winners chosen charity.
Excellent stuff, Don, but only if you are sure. Good luck with the move. Love West Sussex - especially the bird reserve at Pulborough/Storrington. I'm still looking to secure those last two names...
