I'm the gaffer I can do what I like.... I couldn't work in an open plan office either, I'd have a meltdown eventually and would end up stood on the desktop shouting 'Cock Wombles' at the top of my voice.
It's ok if you're stuck in the corner somewhere but I'm right in the middle at the moment next to the big wigs.
I used to be in the corner with a wall behind me and my computer angled towards the window. Was perfect seat.... Moved office since then and now I'm on the end by the walkway, facing away so anyone can walk up behind me without me realising. Only positive is that I'm facing the managers so they can't see my screen while at desk
Not only am I the manager, I setup the computer network too. We have zero controls in place PS...plus I'm in on my own today
I wouldn't class any of those pictures as "pornographic" at all. However, I thought the sensitive souls at Google thought mere nudity was sufficient to cause problems with advertisers and such. Nudity is not pornography per se, but some don't seem to recognise the distinction, and the powers-that-be are afraid of offending people. For some reason, all the ****ing swearing is ok, apparently.
I never claimed that anything that had been posted was pornographic, I was merely reminding Sisu (and others) that certain material isn't allowed on this site. I wouldn't agree on nudity not being pornographic though, otherwise why are adult magazines referred to as porn mags? Afterall, they are just nude pictures. But you are right as regards to google, what they say goes so they are the rules we need to adhere to.
Never said you did, mate. I was just adding my bit to the discussion which seems to be split on two threads. As for nudity and porn being the same, well sorry, -but they're simply not. Would you claim that nudity in art is pornographic? Would you say that a naturist colony exists only to promote erotic stimulation? The fact that porn mags are labelled as such is more to do with their purpose, which as we all know has little to do with appreciation of the aesthetic qualities of the human body. However, in art that often is the purpose.
I agree that nudity in art is not porn. I will now return to watching a very artistic film called "Swedish Night Nurses"
