    Definitely.

Frankly, neither set of us has a bastard clue who's gonna be stronger, i will be spending the week beforehand pacing around and generally being a horrible bastard, whilst trying to play out 3.2milion scenarios in my head.

Spawny mate from York got the tickets and just said I was going regardless, so that's a possible sickie going in.
I'm like you mate not sure who will win it even though I think we have had the better of the signings it'll all depend on how our lot and theirs settle in. The first games will give a bit of an indication of how it'll pan out, work in Chavlington so got a full factory of barcodes to bait or avoid the Monday after.

I'm delighted to have the luxury off hot footing it back to Espana on the Monday morning, i just hope the lads make the 6am rise for the 8am flight a bit more tolerable.

Win lose or draw, i'm going to be in bits, i still can't decide whether to hire a car, or taxi it for the whole weekend!

Just thought i would also mention what an absolute joke it is that you cant order tickets online. You need a ****ing membership number to log in anyway and how easy is it for a mag to obtain one from a used ticket and have all your ****ing address details ready to say over the phone. If i dont get a ticket im gonna ****ing stab some horrible ****.

Aye, that's the smart option i think, i guess the cost of 3-4 cabs will only be marginally higher than a 3 day car hire, and eliminates the prospect of arrest..

    Ha ha.

To be fair mate, they only have a handful of lasses in the ticket office, and they'll be overran with people going down in person, i'd probably try and get down there if i were you.

Took a day off work and went down the ticket office this morning, got there about 8-40 and the queue was reasonably small about 50+ when I left at 10-30 the queue was down to the statue....don't think it'll be long before it's a sellout.

    Great to hear mate.

Hopefully, if we can win the derby, a few of these people will get the bug and make there way down for more games as the season progresses.

We were all out for lunch down Banus yesterday, there was a fella sat with us from Birmingham, we started discussing the derby, he was 'it's not one fo the bigger one's though, is it...'.

Cue an hour long history lesson from me and the 3 other lads (all Mags), with even the lasses chipping in with their tales of how strange the 2 cities are in the week before.

I think he grasped it by the time we finished, and to be fair to the lad, he was fascinated by our reasoning/bombardment.

    Brucey

Just spoke to a mate of mine who would have no chance of getting one in our end, went with two mates and got 3 tickets, they used membership numbers of some lads who have got tickets in your end before.

    How easy?

Problem with that is i live an hour away and im back on nite shift at 6 so no way i can do it and also no guarentee of a ticket. What pisses me off is the fact that our average attendance is about 40k but when newcastle come into town everyone wants to go. I dont have a season ticket as i can only generally go on a saturday as i work sundays and a lot of the time late on midweek nights so being the stingy twat i am i wont pay for 19 games when i can prob only see 12-14 depending on europa league teams, sky etc. Most these "fans" will come out the woodwork once a year and some of them will go just to cause bother. Most of them will be like "Oh look at me im a ****ing hardman shouting at some newcastle fans from behind a wall of police" Im sure i wont be the only one in this scenario and i put a large amount of the blame at the hands of the club. You could set a deadline for none season ticket holders to apply for tickets and dish them out on a points basis. Every member number has a points total anyway so it wouldnt be that hard and would also stop a lot of these people (I wont even call them fans) going on the off chance of getting a scrap.

Thank you leazes corner for proving my point the club is incompetent when it comes to stuff like this they couldnt organise a ****ing piss up in a brewery. Youve just got to look at how long it takes to get out the ground after the game and how long it takes to have a piss/get a pint at half time. If been to St james' a few times and you have no bother doing any of these things. Now we have mags in our end and im sure those 3 wont be the only ones. Once again its fans of our club who would give anything for the club and get nowt in return who suffer. Bunch of ****ing arseholes the lot of them.

It's a pathetic system mate, anyone can buy up to 6, and by 'purchase history' you could have bought a mug off SAFC.com to get a number.

I don't know why they bother in all frankness, tickets will always find there way into peoples hands, there's no criteria for actually getting a number, so it's a fundamentally flawed scheme.
