Mate, I am going to chalk this one down to an difference of perspective (is that a thing?). As I said, I partly agree with you but based on your perspective, what differs is the time period. I thought the end of the game was disappointing and slow where as the firstbhalf and early second was promising. The sideways passing had outlets that were willing to run and make themselves available. Martial and Memphis looked good (I know you disagree entirely so let's not even go there , Diego will have our necks ) so it had a purpose for once.
Paradoxically I thought we played quite well on Tuesday and I saw some promising signs. The injury to Shaw knocked the stuffing out of our players. Of course we deserved at least a draw but PSV took their chances well. We had many chances and we needed to convert them. Mata had the best one. We should have had a penalty for the shaw tackle. But the promising signs were that we created the chances and it was just not passing in front of their defence. We should be able to beat them at OT. Martial had some nice touches for his first start. He looks as if he will be a great recruit for us and has definitely improved our squad.
