Hungary have closed the border and who would believe, the refugees have shown their true colours and kicked off. 20 Hungarian police officers injured. The Hungary PM has expressed concern at the number of Muslims arriving into Europe.

We expect you to give us what we want.
If you don't we will kick off.
If we get what we want, then we'll tell you what more we want.
If we don't get the extra, then we'll kick off again
    If......... etc etc

The eastern European countries should build barbwire fences on the beaches where the boats carrying the refugees are coming in

    Exactly why appeasement never works.

Apparently there`s trouble in Denmark because they won`t let them go to Sweden where`s there`s higher benefits. Danes sticking to Schengen I think but the migrants choosing to ignore it for more freebies. Safe countries don`t seem to apply any more.

Economic migrants using Syria as an excuse. I am so grateful to David Cameron for his stance.

I have to say it seems Putin, (whom I know we cannot trust), has made a move into Syria and is allegedly creating an airbase there. Isn't this the right approach? Support Syria, a secular state, against the IS a bunch of super totalitarian brainwashed ****wits. Get rid of them and their rancid, neanderthal view of life and then afterwards try to stabilise the area. I say that with slight tongue in cheek as
    a. its Putin,so who knows what may happen next!:emoticon-0130-devil
    B. It's all been tried before and look where that got us <doh>

For once , Dave deserves a pat on the back.

Now, when the charities and the aid workers and the migrant welcome brigade and the UN and everybody says I have to show compassion and caring towards the economic migrants - it makes me think - these people (blokes on their own) are belittling and insulting the misery and danger of genuine war refugees by saying ''we will pretend to be like you''. I have no doubt that they would push to the front of any queue and claim the place of a refugee woman /child to get into a European country to suit their purpose with no concern for refugee. With Germany saying enough for now, and refugees still trying to get in, this has already happened.
Why , I ask then , should I show compassion for them.

The Russians have been in Syria for years mate.

Their only deep water port in the Med is there. That's why they were grooming the Cypriots last year when they thought the Cypriots were going to default and the EU looked like they wouldn't bail them out - they thought they could be losing their Syrian base and Cyprus is just a few miles offshore.

    It's massive for them strategically.

Aye, knew they have been there for a while, but building an airbase is a step up and an indication that they ain't going to let it go. It's a shame, as usual, that stupid politics between nations muddles an effective way of dealing with a crisis that is slowly destroying civilisation as we know it.
IS have yet to start emptying out Tunisia and Algeria, we have been complicit in making Lybia their battleground and even more of a basket case and Egypt is right on the edge. As sure as eggs is eggs IS will also be trying to undermine Turkey as well. It's all, as I see it, going to end very badly, apologies BM, but I cannot see any positives atm. Although, strange as it might seem, it could be Putin, if he does change the course of events in Syria

Whereas nobody wants to see the distressing state of refugee's drowning in their attempts to find a better life, the majority are Muslims and as such should surely be given refuge in another Country where the Muslim religion is predominant. Here in Australia we have had this problem for yonks with "do-gooders" telling us what a wonderful job we are doing in repatriating these poor unfortunate souls and how "multiculturalism" is the solution. What they are not telling us is that multiculturalism has not worked anywhere in the world. Here in Australia, instead of spreading these people out they are putting them in areas designated as "welcome zones" (I live in one myself where the unemployment rate is the highest in Australia so could someone tell me the logic in this). Eventually they complain that everything 'offends' them (except the welfare payments of course) and Mosque's start springing up as they form their own "ghetto's". Saturation point has arrived all over the 'western' world and the cold hard facts are that we are 'full up' and we cannot look after our own never mind anyone else. It won't be long before the riots start in earnest. There have been protests for years in both the UK and Australia against further acceptance of 'economic' migrants yet still the Government of the day continues to allow these people to take up residence in our Country. Something is going to have to be done pretty quickly.

except the welfare payments of course
I'm sure I once read that the Koran states a muslim is not supposed to accept charity. Or 1600 years ago did the prophet foresee western benefits and conveniently write in an exception

The question is Billy, WHO is governing the government. This is happening all over the world. This 'refugee' situation is not an accident it is by design but WHO designated this should happen and for what purpose? Scary innit!
