last season i honestly beleive we were as good as anything in the bottom half of the prem.our style of play is more suited to the new division we now find ourselves in,guaranteed a decent playing surface everywhere we go and we have the element of surprise to spring on one or two who do not take us seiriously.BELEIF is the key and im sure this group of players have that in abundance,so lets make the whole of wales proud....even a few of those from down the road!

I hope along with us Canaries you will be good enough to at least survive. Without question The Swans played the best football in the Championship last season with us (arguably) just behind you. The only difference being the away form and that is going to be more important this time round.

If you can do well at the home games I think you will be fine <ok>

I am one of 'those from down the road' and and I understand your excitement and optimism but your comparing yourself to be as good as the likes of Newcastle, Bolton and West Brom which you clearly are not.

Your passing it aroung the midfield for 10 mins type of football aint gonna work because no matter how many times you tell yourself it....you are not Barcelona.

I am very surprised you havent strengthened more give the big pot of gold you have just found but I assume BR is going to pick up some more at the end of the window. However, given the fact that QPR have not really added much quality (Bothroyd has never done a job at PL level) and are going to lose Tarrabt and I dont think Norwich will do very well (Sorry ThaiCanary), throw in Blackburn and Wigan and its a 5 team mini league at the bottom you just have to survive which I think you do have a decent chance of coming out of well although I will admit I dont want you to.

if you look at the premiership its frightening but if you split the premiership into two leagues then its not so bad and im confident that we will be better than 3 teams and for our first season thats all we have to do, anything else is a bonus, im sure we will surprise a few teams this season and will get enough points to stay up....KTF

aber last season (to the fans anger) we played a weakened team against Wigan so its not that much to go on really...... But being compared to WBA and Newcastle... Well we battered Newcastle at home and only drew the game to an 88th minute Andy Carroll header, then we beat WBA away 1-0.... and were better now than we ever were under Sousa, so im confident we can compete.

As people point out all the team, the Premiership is made up of mini-leagues (1-4, 5-8, etc) As long as we beat the teams around the bottom and hold onto a good home record then we'll be fine.

I honestly think we'll be in danger with two games left, but I'm confident of a 15-16th placed finish.

The problem is that it isn't just beating the teams around you that will keep you up. Read an article that was posted on a thread on here a couple of days ago (will attempt to find) that stated that last season the 2 best teams in the mini league of 6 at the bottom of the league come the end of the season was West Ham and Birmingham....now playing Championship football :/

Obviously if you beat them all home and away you are well on your way to surviving as winning them all (assuming you are one of them) is 30 but we need to beat a lot more than them to stay up....although I am quietly confident we will do so. 46 points is my guess :)

Thai a realist. We are all living in hope. Not one of us really know how we will do next year. We have all stregnthed our squads. which means hopefully better performances. I cant see why both us and norwich cant compete. its all about doing well at home and just trying to pick up some valuable away points. those in blue are desperate for us to fail and will just look for the negatives. Whilst us in white and yellow are looking for more positives. May next year will prove which ones of us got it right.

I don't think a anyone is claiming we can finish 10th but we are good enough to take points against quite a few teams.

We will be competitive with Norwich, QPR, Wolves, Wigan and Blackburn. We are good enough to get points against the likes of Fulham, Bolton, WBA and Stoke at home. But our biggest asset is that I don't thin anyone will find us easy to play against, meaning we will likely at least be in most games and if you can stay in a game then all it takes is one moment to grab a point or three.

I am expecting relegation, I'll come out and admit that. I am expecting us to surprise people though and I hope for more. We're not as good as WBA and Bolton, but they went up and down 3 times each I think to become what they now are.

I'll weigh our success on how little money we spend . I think we'll have a tough go but we'll have as good a chance as a half dozen other teams of staying up , with what we have now . Money like this doesn't come along to often for " Smaller Clubs " , lets not waste it is my biggest concern .
