    American Samoa.

Saw them a few years back in a performance against Australia, their style of footie really got me hooked on them

As i'm not technically from one of the home nations supporting England is actually a choice for me but as we've been asked to exclude them I'll give three more.

Holland - loved watching the Dutch teams of the 70's (Cruyff etc) and have had a soft spot for them as a national side ever since.
Hungary - have just always liked the crazy Magyar's for some reason, probably because I became interested in their history when I was a kid.
Latvia - worked with some Latvians and still good friends with some. A bit of allegience has rubbed off on me I guess.

loved the Dutch as well till that hatchet job in the world cup where the team not only killed perfect football but well and truly buried the fecker as well

It often depends on what players are playing and who is managing as this affects the style and quality of the play, but at the moment I would say: Germany, Russia and Spain - they all play great attacking football.

That means Jock McMagpie, myself and the other Scottish born Newcastle fans are double cursed.

If I wasn't so resilient to failure I'd have topped myself years ago with a back street labotomy and supported Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal/et al *

Delete non league winners as appropriate.

I know where you are coming from with that. The last world cup has tested my liking for them as well, but it is just about hanging on. Another display like that though and I will be done with them!

On review of my earlier comment I thought of a great many other teams I enjoying watching (Ghana, South Africa, Japan) so I decided it would be easier for me to name three nations I dislike:

Portugal: They have an admittedly good defence but other than Ronaldo they are very average in attacking areas and seem to rely on him far too much which is really dull to watch.

Greece: Despite winning the Euro's, they are incredibly poor and frustrating to watch. Also Samaras is first choice which says a lot.

Cameroon: They are incredible on FIFA bit in reality they play a poor style of football, play Eto'o out of position and still have Geremi in their side.
