Morning Mike, be fair mate as I'm on your side. Nobody fair minded on this board will believe that you were tipping the € to weaken, you have always maintained to hold back buying it until it goes above 1.50€ - not selling back above that rate. Petrol could well go down to a £ a litre or dip below but the € rate is nowhere near your tip! The highest buying rate I saw weeks before our recent holiday was 1.40 but we didn't buy at the time and bought at 1.33 just before flying, we sold back at 1.411 yesterday.
The Ganging up on an ill OAP is not nice to see lads,no matter how much you feel goaded,time to ignore each other I think and let things go.Which of you can be the better men here.

I am quite happy taking the more head on approach. If anyone thinks they are clever by just posting "I AM NEVER WRONG AND I NEVER CHANGE MY MIND ON ANYTHING" they deserve all they get. Nobody here knows more than anyone else. We all get plenty of stuff wrong and every day is a school day but all apart from one have enough self awareness to understand this.
Don't for 1 minute think you as a bully,and Glory is a nice bloke,but you don't have to point out every little thing,we can,do see peoples faults,and having 2 parents still alive at 80 its an age they all think they are always right even when the world can see they always aren't.
Give it 20-30 years and you will no doubt be the same.Age changes us all,some things for the better and some not.
I know. It's hard to believe but I used to be ugly. I understand what you are saying. But there has been too much said. I did spend a period a couple of months ago not biting and ignoring. Hell I even helped him out a couple of times but he still carried on... I don't want to do the drama queen thing but if I am the problem then someone just say so ( preferably privately)....
