After last nights defeat I am very surprised to see that Reams has turned on everyone at Charlton from the tea lady upwards.

It's almost as if he was conned into thinking that the owners really were signing lots of top class foreign players, and we would be promoted this season with 150 points.

Time for another pep talk from Katrien outside the toilets, methinks.

It would worry me. They have the wrong kind of bars in there. And no women!

Reams loves bars, just not the iron ones.

watt was awful last night. just would not pass and tried taking on their entire 11 single handed.

the new fella looked slighter than a 10 year old. he will be no good - when he had the ball, he kept turning backwards and inwards. he's supposed to be an attacker and when we needed a goal he just kept going back to fox/bergditch. And thats when the "crab" football began... too much sideways, not enough passes. our slow build ups dont use Mak's main attributes. by the time we get anywhere near the oppo goal they've put two banks of 4 back in place ready to defend.

we were crap all last night. if it was 2-0 at half time i'd have gone home.

Does anyone think the palace game is on their mind?

I've heard nothing about JBG/Watt, but didn't attend last night. What exactly are they saying, FHB? Worrying if true, as I think they're two of our best 3 players.

My only out take, in the second half, it did look like Huddersfield were playing 6 defenders. They really parked the bus and wasted a lot of time.

Pretty much the same as Rotherham, kept playing around the box, but nothing going in. In the final 15 minutes, I remember counting Huddersfield all players near their box. We couldn't break them down, and they just kept us to long shots which blasted well over. Makeniok was the only player who came closest have scored an equaliser, but that went way way off target.

I'm not a professional footballer, and will accept critisim for this comment, but it "looked harder to miss the goal than actually score."

One of the posters said that what heard from them on Saturday was unacceptable, and that it continued last night. Others are talking about Watt not passing to JBG until quite late in the game.

As much as he is a flash player, Watt didn't want to seem to pass to anyone.

We may be missing Jackson's leadership.

I couldn't agree more with that. Look at when we was in league one and first seasons back in the championship. Our win rate without Jackson in the team was appalling. We need him back in the middle.

Some people though have said his legs have gone! I don't agree with that, especially when you see players like Ryan Giggs playing in the premier league till super old.

Agree. A shame his legs have gone, but maybe going 4-5-1 with kashi and cousins doing the donkey work to accommodate JJ, might help get us back on track.

Or 3-5-2 with solly and fox/Bergdich playing wing bank.

Was sarr as bad as he sounded?

It must be desperate if we are talking of Jackson.

Didn't José Riga play 3-5-2 when he came in?

In the air he's more than capable in my opinion, and is certainly one for the spectacular save. Yet as you said, the skitter along the ground is something he needs to work on, something I'm sure he is aware of, and hopefully our coaching staff are too

Why ? We miss Jacko's leadership IMO. Get him back in the centre with Cousins v Blackburn.

If we replicate last nights performance against Palace, we will lose 6-0 and I can people turning on Luzon.
    Cabaye v Ba ....cringe
    Bolasie v Fox ....sh1t :emoticon-0132-envy:

Would rather Fox than Bergdich, Bergdich has no attacking instinct if you ask me, just doesn't seem to make any runs, I appreciate he may have been told to stay back last night, but even when there was a clear overlap that Fox would have stormed down he stood still calling for it, no movement.

Sarr wasn't too bad if you ask me, Diarra a much better player though, Bauer and Diarra are a solid CB pairing and would not want to break that up

If Doucébag or Luzon thinks that Bergdich is better than Fox, they need serious psychiatric help. Fox, Welsh international, pretty solid at this level. Bergdich, unheard of, not been impressed with him to date.
