Colback deserves all the abuse he'll get now

What utter ****e! No better at all. We've improved on him and bought better players. Still wouldn't swap catts for either of those two!

It say's something when Colback, a first team player for the mags, genuinely wouldn't even make our match day squad now...

All bias apart, if we'd signed someone as dull as Colback in the window I'd be quite disappointed.

When a Premier League player's highest compliment is that he's 'tidy' then you know what he's like.

You'll never hear the phrase 'Excellent by Colback' ........... he just doesn't have it in him.

I agree with that word for word. He's got no quality has he, doesn't excel in any areas. Got no height, no pace, 1 goal a season maybe, doesn't win anything in the air, can't dictate a game, no creativity. His 5 yard sideways passing is alright, I suppose.

As a footballer he is about as dull as it gets.

    Can`t argue with that.

I wasn`t annoyed at where he went. What irked me was that we got nothing back from our investment.

iirc there was quite a few mags jumping up and down over the fact they stole him from us. Not quite going according to script. Starting to pick up cards aswell now. Might be frustration but it aint a good sign.

Just been trawling (not trolling) on their board - Colback is getting it from all angles!! You know - Jack Colback the star signing last summer who starts every game! He is first choice for them but wouldn;t even get in our first 18! :D

That shirt on the left looks far too big for him.

Agreed lads. The taunts about us being their 'feeder club' are biting them on the arse big style now. He's their first team player and like you have rightfully said Marcus, he wouldn't even make our bench now. Newcastle are the club we give our cast offs to, like the less fortunate, we give them our used second hand toys <ok>

There was talk of him being worth £10 million ........... probably more than Palace paid for Cabaye.

    I wonder what Colback's worth now <whistle>

Is it me, or does their horrible shirt look like they're wearing a vest over it?

Don't disagree much really lads, he's as basic as it gets. I still think he's better than Cattermole who is rated by absolutely no one but Sunderland fans.

Oh, and he did actually bag an incredible 4 goals last season <whistle>

A lot of our fans do rate him highly tbh and have only turned on him recently. I never wanted him in the first place, that's a fact. He was a 5/10 last year, one of our better players tbh, not saying much though. Some of the comments on here are either daft or completely stupid coming from a team that came 17th (?) last year and hasn't won a game yet, but I suppose that bitterness is always going to be there towards him.

How many have been over to hold their hands up? All we ever said he was bang average. We were being ridiculed like we hadn't seen him come up through our youth system. <doh><laugh> Good to be right as per Marcus. We know our onions. ;)
