It's back! The most prestigious European trophy available (ignoring the CL) and our first game is away to Bordeaux.

    upload_2015-9-16_0-39-40.png v upload_2015-9-16_0-40-0.jpeg

Neither team are going into this game in any real form with Bordeaux taking 6 points from their opening 5 league games (1 win, 3 draws, 1 defeat) while Liverpool are slightly better with 7 from 5 (2 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats) however Bordeaux most recent result (a 2-2 draw with PSG) is significantly better than LFC's last.

Kick off is 6pm on Thursday 17th September.

Notable Bordeaux players include Henri Saviet who was a cracking young player along with Sakho in FM I believe it was.

Not an easy game, Rodgers has to rotate and give some a run out. I'm finding it difficult to get into the season a spark is needed.

If we're still doing **** by mid October I'm going full time NBA and not watching footy anymore.

I reckon Rodgers will put out a decent side seeing as there's no travelling and we're home again Sunday.

Which will be even more embarrassing when we lose.

Decent team but would be ripped to shreds as we'd need the FB's to bomb forward. We're **** at defending anyway so might as well go for it <laugh> I'd put Origi in for Ings purely for pace.

Ripped to shreds any more than we have been in previous 2 games you mean <whistle>

And i don't think we would. Team is full of hard workers, Coutinho can put in a good shift in that role as he did it numerous times the season before last and firmino in Germany was a very hard worker.

Plus we should be dominating the ball against Bordeaux so need creative players to break them down.

  19. If we're attacking then in theory they have to defend and therefore we peg them back. First form of defence is attack and all that.
