I can't understand why a rational view on what we've seen game to game this season couldn't be adopted by more people this week, rather than the persistent exaggerated militancy on either positivity or criticism, and the associated one-up-manship we've had since Brighton, and on this thread in particular. Very tiresome.

Alex Bruce immense? Who would have thought it. Hugely underrated. We look so much better with Alex Bruce in the starting 11.

He's very composed and a good organiser, rarely has a bad match too, some of the stick he gets on here is beyond belief at times
