I would have liked to have kept him but if he wanted to go it was time to let the bird fly once our valuation was met.

Granted, the money recouped from him may have been partially wasted, but a wise manager could have put it to good use.

He played like a dog for 6 months and made it clear he wanted to leave, so he had to go.

He didn't want to be here so it was best all round that he left, it wasn't like he was playing all that well. I wish him good luck and hope he grows up, stops the night club messing about and doesn't end up wasting his talent.

Tbh JB I don't wish him well, his antics and attitude towards the club and people that nurtured his talent was disgusting.

You have to be coming out of a nightclub at 4am or smoking hubbly bubbly in a shisha cafe to get the chance.

He got caught literally across the road from my house beating his bird up(allegedly) in Page Moss, I only politely held his coat because he was our player, if I'd have known he was gonna worm himself a move I'd have jumped in for her and battered him with me baseball bat.<grr>

He's an immature kid so I cut him some slack. Also don't forget his agent was leading him by the nose.

He didn't need much leading tbf, it was obvious his agent has spoken to City(and informed Sterling that he had), he was promising on the pitch but a liability off it.

In some ways it's better he left.:bandit:

  18. Neither of which wash when you consider the performances he was putting in last season.

To be fair the "smaller" clubs get this treatment from players all the time and no one batters an eye lid. It's just football, the way it is.

I might be going to a Manchester night at the town hall tonight as it goes. Meeting some bird called 'smell' there. Might do some sniff banging with Sterling - I'll pass the message on <ok>
