If anyone could help me find a better graphic (still in rectangle shape but not as big) containing Dinamo and Arsenal's crest with some UCL stuff in the background PM me the image as this one is looking somewhat ungainly. Also couldn't find a bloody decent pic from our last match nor a good one of their stadium.
These any good? *might have to copy n paste! http://earlecompany.com/wp-content/...inamo-Zagreb-vs-Arsenal-17-September-2015.jpg http://www.arsenal.com/assets/_files/scaled/696x392/aug_15/gun__1440694252_UCL_arsenal_VFinalKJM.jpg http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Photo/competitions/Comp_Matches/01/85/40/00/1854000_w1.jpg * there are some good images here too re our previous meeting back in 2006 * hmmmm link does not seem to work.. but google "getty images dinamo zagrab v arsenal 2006"
Tricky away tie, but we should be beating the likes of Zagreb in this competition. I just hope we don't come away with any injures before the Chavs on saturday.
Zagreb is a cool city, anyone going out to watch the game will have a good time. The people are really direct but very friendly and welcoming. There's plenty to do for a few days including a museum of broken relationships which is a bit dark lol No idea how good the football team is though! It's an away game in the CL so I'm expecting them to put up a fight but we need to be winning our games against Zagreb and Olympiakos incase we have poor results against Bayern.
Although we should win comfortably, I'm looking ahead to Saturday. We have an early Saturday kick off against Chelsea away from home. Meanwhile, Chelsea have their first CL game at home. I hope we don't pick up any injuries or burn ourselves before the Chelsea game but this game couldn't have come at a worse time. 3-0 to Arsenal.
Wenger said Ramsey and Bellerin left behind to be rested. Pretty much confirms they'll start against Chelsea.
It's nice to know that we can rest 1st team players without weakening the team. Oxo should against Dinamo as well. I heard that the Manager and the Chief Exec of Dinamo are on bail, having only been released from prison at the start of the season for embezzlement and fraud!
Interesting stat!! Dinamo are back in the Champions League after two year away, and on a 41-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
I heard merts is out because he was involved in a minor car accident - no luck for him. I bet he will be out for ages and his leg will fall off!
I read an article about the accident, as far as I remember he wasn't actually injured, just shaken up. Was surprised to see he may miss this game. If he does I'd imagine it's more about his state of mind after the accident. Wenger may just want to rest him ahead of the Chelsea game.
Team announced Arsenal XI: Ospina, Debuchy, Gabriel, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Cazorla, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez, Giroud.
Good chance for us to lift the spirits with a win tonight and go into the game on a high for saturday. I worry slightly about Arteta though, he slows the game down so much. Still, the players in front of him should have enough about them to win this game. Would love to see Giroud get on the scoresheet again as it will be a real shot in the arm ahead of Chelsea.
Quite a strong team but still some rotation going on, with six changes from our last game. Oxocube getting his opportunity to try and play his way into the team tonight. And both Gibbs and debuchy with opportunities to push for there positions too.
