in the "kung fu kick of the year 2011 hall of fame": http://www.fanatix.com/sport/news/c...icks-portsmouth-player-in-the-face-video-162/ JT - what a nice chap he is.
John Terry's a bit of a nutter, never forget when he threw himself to the ground head-first to clear off the line in the World Cup against Slovenia. A proper old fashioned centre half! In comparison to Oscar Gobern, I think Gobern just lost all body coordination and threw himself through the air unintentionally!
Gobern's tackle was much worse i think as it was 2 footed and you have absolutely no control with out at least 1 foot on the deck. Also take note of who they were playing. Terry definitely got to the ball first!!
Terrys tackle ..... well timed, ball first. Commited. Shame that idiot got in the way to spoil it. Both Terrys and Goberns were pretty shocking - hard to call it lol!!!! Either way - Anyone else agree that its quite pleaseing to watch? Maybe a tad harsh?
The thing is that because the Pompey player pulled the keeper about 1 second earlier, Chelsea got the free kick. Also worth watching the goal from that match for amusement value:
Gobern's tackle, if you can call it that, was insane. I don't think it was malicious, I don't really understand it at all. I like John Terry though and good to see him mashing the blue shi*e.
Although Gobern's tackle could have seriously injured the player, it didn't and was hilarious. Terry's was evil.
