I don't think it's a 'light-hearted joke' to twist the truth on someone's relations with the newly-elected leader of their political party. (who is being attacked from all angles of the right-wing media as it is, already) But maybe that's just me.

Congratulations to Sky....they have made me turn off Sky Sports. Can watch (or vaguely listen) to any sport, even horse racing, but coverage of American Football made me rediscover the off switch.

Can be screwed into the ground and they provide you with most of the stuff you need. My old cover eventually ripped and I decided to have a look at something better. Available via ebay or just straight from a vendor. I got mine about two weeks secondhand and it cost me £70, plus it was local. God didn't love me with my ripped cover and then he did again with the framed home [which is pretty good seeing as he doesn't exist for me]. You can padlock them.

They bring their own problems. Like never being able to go around corners quickly. And hitting every bump in the road you pass down. Ta, but no ta.
But....but....it's even got those tassle things on the handlebars, pretty cool if you ask me (yeah I know, you weren't asking).
Tassels.? Oh, I'm sold then. Selling my VFR and getting one of those. Tbh, tassels are just one of a dozen reasons why I'm not a Harley-Davidson fan. More image than reliable bike with performance and economy.
I chose my Nevada Guzzi instead of a Harley 1200 this summer. I like custom bikes (within reason) but after a long hard look at my inner self realised I could never live up (?down) to the image. Just not 'hard' enough.
Well, for one reason or another, you made the right choice, I think. It has been said, and not entirely untruly that HDs are 1930-1950s bikes masquerading as 21st century ones. I'm not a cruiser bike person myself though I have ridden one or two and any bike has a measure of fun about it. My only grumble with them is that they aren't responsive enough, which is why I have a sports-tourer. Comfy, long-legged, great handling, and can go like stink when asked. Is the Moto-Guzzi nice.? I'd give it all up for a great condition Yamaha XT500 though [I think maybe, oh I dunno].
The Guzzi is very nice . Apart from higher bars and (too) small petrol tank there's no real difference between it and the V7 and classic models. I find I'm riding it in a most un-cruiser like way, much to my wife's concern. It'll cost me £200 for a center stand to be fitted at the next service though .
Do it yourself. Very low tech. EDIT: Hang on, just looked up the price inc Vat for a new stand. £192. Ouch. Second hand.?
