Just a simple poll to see how many Mr T's we have out there....

 

We already sold our best players

 

Not sure it's going to be that bad, but we may struggle more than expected as the team and club restructures and finds its way.
We need to remember that this is a project and a few new signings ( good as they are) and a better coaching staff, will not undo years of chaos and neglect overnight.
Patience and realism will be the order of the day l feel.

 

Nope to relegation ..but not top 8 either. .11-14th would do ....as GLF says ..This season will (Hopefully) be spent starting to undo the years of shambolic mismanagement at the club

One of the best things about the past transfer window for me ..was the new coaching staff ..while never that enamored with SM being appointed... the changes made with SM and the coaches seem to indictate that the management are finally attacking the structural problems correctly ..from the top down (Penfold excluding himself from that process unfortunately)

All in all I think we won't see the benefit from this till next season ... so we need to give time for the changes to filter through ...if we Can survive (which I think we will) till then ..future looks slightly more positive in the medium term

 

Top 10 target like Pardew or sack the lot of them and round up a lynch mob

I think we have already sold all our best players at some stage, and also been relegated. So given the absence of a timeframe I believe Mr T was 100% correct.

 

I said we will so im only half right, however i was one game away from being totally right. The hecklers were worried.

 

We will anyway, this summer was just about Ashley toying with the fans. £50m is **** all to him, when he recoups £65m in January, the tears will flow from the believers. Then we'll be relegated.

you're nearly at 1000 posts mate... that's some going in little over a month. Fair play.

 

It's all about consistency and unfortunately I neglected too many aspects if my life over the past few months, however the training started again today and the porridge and musli stockpiled.

 

Inconsistency is never something you can be accused of. You had a little wobble at the beginning of this season with a couple of positive posts( think you said we were going to finish 17th and sell all but one of our best players). I prefer it now normal service is resumed!

Just finished a workout actually

 

We have a fitness thread on our board mate. There's some really good advice on there, take a peak if you get a few minutes

 

Good man. Yeah I'm sticking to it. I have cut out the booze too which I have to admit is proving a bit of a killer. I do like a glass of wine or three on a weekend. Still on heavy protein and veg diet at moment as looking to move the body comp in the right direction before building but obviously those gains are coming as a by product of the training.

 

Advice from others i find to confuse things i know what works me me so won't be long before I'm in shape.

Probably Christmas ill be tanning and feeling tiptop.

Ill have a look but i think some of the things people say to be either too advanced for what they are trying to achieve or myths.

 

Now I have posted my vote that you will not get relegated, but thank you for moving us off the bottom. You played badly last night and lost, we actually played well on Sunday and lost. So I am not sure which is worst.
I would like us both to stay up and us to continue our winning streak against you. But realistically we both have to start winning games...on Sunday I thought I saw the beginnings of hope, we hit the woodwork twice and one lapse of not tracking back cost us a goal and the 3 points but we had a good shape and some pace. We have to keep that performance going, our new players made a difference, last night your new players didn't you may need your new striker back I do not know.

After 10 games in if we are both winless I fear for us...lets see in month or so

 

I think at the minute we have a double whammy of a new set of players and a new system to get used to.
Hopefully against Watford we can learn how to win again as 3 points can do a lot for confidence.
I hope we both stay up as our region is more than capable of sustaining two, if not 3 PL clubs and derby days are something special.
