Who said Mahrez isn't a cracking player? I watch a lot of football around Europe and I can say without hesitation that Mahrez isn't on the same level as De Bruyne, nothing to do with Leicester. Wolfsburg are one of the top teams in Germany, BTW. Putting a link up from talkshite is never going to help your cause by the way, I've saved myself some dignity by not opening the link. If Leicester are top 8 come the new year then fair enough fella, I will happily applaud you. Not after 5 games though and not when you have only played Sunderland, West Ham, Spurs, Bournemouth and Villa. Teams are still finding form and fitness, I've always believed after 10 games is when you can clearly see how teams really are. You have done what you have to do so far, so fair play, a long way to go though.

That is fantastic form since April, however last season has absolutely no bearing on this one, so I personally look no further than the 5 games you have played this season. You are right, I did think you would struggle under Ranieri, I also came on to your board and stated that it looked like I had called that wrong. Although I still don't think you will finish top half, I can't see you going down at all now. Again you are telling me people are talking about Mahrez's performances being 'imperious', why? I haven't said anything other than that myself...

Although i agree with you (so annoyed by pundits making stats based on "calendar year" and "last 11 games") you could argue the run at the end of the season is the reason for their confidence going into this season and helping us have a good start. I'd still take any position around 14th tbh, we havn't had the hardest of fixtures and we needed points on the board early. December for me is a write off for us. As Claudio says, we have 11 points, 29 to go
