Any party that elects two people called Tom and Jerry to lead them anywhere can only expect a load of slapstick comedy and a label of Looney Tunes.

I would be a fan of Corbyn and his policies but can you not see what people on here are getting at?

Of course. Corbyn could turn out to be the worst thing that ever happened to the labour party. Maybe not though. The political landscape is changing throughput the democratic world. Look at Bernie Sanders in the USA. A self declared socialist giving Hillary Clinton a run for her money; that would have been unthinkable a few years ago. Who knows how all this will turn out?

I think you do Archer. Jerry will hit Tom with a fly swat and then nationalise the cheese industry.

As far as the Labour party is concerned I think Turkeys and Christmas springs to mind. Labour just put itself back to the 70's.

What I mean is do you think English folk will vote for a party led by an IRA supporter and his deputy who is also an IRA supporter?

Seems to be the elephant in the room which Corbyn supporters want to avoid.

The media are not avoiding it.

The right wing print media will use every tool they can find to batter Corbyn. But their influence is in decline.

And I remember the 70s. Not a bad time to be alive. Full employment, no housing crisis, brilliant music.

And I remember the 70s. Not a bad time to be alive. Full employment, no housing crisis, brilliant music. And Saints won the FA Cup.
