£20m Far to low! If there is a release clause it would be £30m plus, our owners are not stupid.
We have to be looking at the same amount that was payed for Benteke and Martial!

I hope it´s a high release clause (if there is one).
We need to say NO til the end of the season because he´s a key player for our survival & if he carries on the way he is at the mo we could double what they are willing to pay now.
Sadly he´ll be gone in Jan or July, that´s almost 100% guarantied.

... you should be pricing him for more ... if Berahinho is priced at £25 m and Stones at £30 m plus ... what price for a player with Mahrez's talent? ... we have no need to sell him on the cheap ...

Why? ... the cases of Berahinho and Stones are good examples of players being made to honour contracts ... what makes you think our owners will sell our most prized asset? ... they have invested millions and their goal is to establish us in the Prem? ... they are excellent businessmen ... and you don't succeed in business by selling your prize assets on the cheap ... De Bruyne cost Man City £55m (having already 'failed' at Chelsea) ... I've seen nothing from him that would get him in my fantasy footie side in front of Riyad <laugh> ...

Not if his form takes a dive, though i'd rather he keep putting on stellar performances and raising his value by £2m a game <ok>

We don't need to sell, but i'd hate to keep him here against his will, especially if its to a top team in the world like Barca, i just hope we can get the most out of the deal for someone who has the potential to be a Ballon d'Or candidate in the future.

Barca didn't have enough for De Gea - had to add a player to make it to £29M so wouldn't be able to afford the £30M+ we want.

Probably why Real bid for De Gea.

What happened to Barca's transfer ban? I thought they had an embargo for 2015 anyway?

Would Riyad be the replacement for Xavi? The Awesome Threesome would ride again - Messi, Iniesta and Mahrez. I'd buy a season ticket to watch them!

So I understand it they can do a deal but the player can´t play til Jan 16. I think I heard that on SKY SPORTS after Barca bought a recent player.

Thing is, if we did well we could quite easily put albrighton on the right, schlupp on the left, fuchs LB and dyer covering and not be THAT much worse off. He is too good for us and i accept that so if a top 4 team or barca do come in im happy for him to go, but id want him to see the season out first (no reason not to) and then thank him and say goodbye. I would consider January though for a STUPID sized bid as i cant see us going down without him

... we'd be worse off ... the guy is our magician ... scoring and creating from nothing and putting the fear of God into defenders ...look at the difference that Suarez leaving Liverpool made ... that IMHO would be a useful parallel .. we really can't afford to lose him this season ...

With the way he's playing and the transfer market in this country you'd get about £100 million for him over here.

Mahrez's agent has said he is happy here and is ignoring all the speculation

So he's going then! Actually I'll wait until he scores and kisses the badge, then we'll know he'll be off for sure!
