Piece of piss this football management lark. Perhaps Tony can give Steve some pointers.

 

Tony Pennock is the best thing about our club atm. He developed Swansea's academy brilliantly and is doing the same with us.

 

When the Allams sell to someone who knows something about football, bring back Nick Barmy in place of Bruce and make Pennock his assistant and then we'll have a management team of two people who know how to play attacking football. The sooner we get rid of the clueless current management/coaching staff the better. Looks like we have some really promising players coming through the junior ranks. And that Townsend really knows how to take a free kick!!

The Harry Maguire situation strange 2m plus and is turning out for the u21, not even in the first team squad for Cardiff ,maybe the money spent on Harry should have been put towards a striker, to be fair to Maguire he kept his head down and just got on with it, but he must be wondering why am I here.

 

What a bizarre comment. Why do you not rate Steve Bruce? For man management and decency I'd take Steve Bruce every time. Bruce has an amazing record. I'm quietly confident that we are ok but Steve Bruce has to stay.

Got there 5 minutes late and missed their goal!!! 1-0 down.

We played well. very dangerous down the left CJm involved a lot but he is very wasteful. Had a great chance but took way to long and the opportunity went. Goal from Annan, he played wide right which isnt his postion but he scored a decent goal. Looked like it took a deflection to me. He's got summat Annan, i like him.
Bowen and Ter Horst up front always dangerous. Big H at the back looked far far too good for this level which he obvs is.

Clark and Dixon solid CM. Townsend should be playing first team football somewhere or even us if Robbo isnt doing it.

1-1 half time.

Second half just seemed to slip by then we scored a cracking free kick from Townsend, left foot curler into the top corner.
Few minutes later and good work on the right and Bowen curled one into the bottom corner. Excellent finish.

Have to mention H again but his reading etc was superb. Nicked in front of their CF and knocked him over, he got up looking for revenge and chased after H. Their winger too, they both lunged in, he expected and cut back sat em both on their arse. Ace. Couple of great forward surges too.
This kid was playing in front of 15-20000 crowds 3 years ago, we need to play him or sell him.
Stick him into a back 3 please Brucey, at least we'll have more firepower at set pieces.

Oh and Ehab was there watching the game.

 

Hello Hull fans. You're friendly neighbourhood Bee here. Was at the game tonight and stood a few yards from Ehab during the 2nd half. Got some interesting info when he was in conversation with someone who I assume is also associated with the club.

1. Ehab can't believe Harry Maguire isn't in the first team and doesn't like seeing first team players deny the academy players a game.
2. Ehab can't believe Harry isn't chosen over someone else who plays at centre half and doesn't have many friends except one.
3. Ehab felt pressured in to signing your crocked Norwegian. His agent friends told him to avoid the player.

 

And some players?

 

So replace an experienced manager with one who...isn't. And who isn't a manager. Or interested. Then make his assistant someone who could easily be a manager?

How was Ehab?

 

1. I really rate Maguire and he as a professional must be getting completely pissed off. Another player we signed for fairly decent money and we don't play him, he needs to be playing first team football in this league - from what I have seen of him he is easily good enough.
2. Is that Curtis Davies? Still, with one friend he probably has more than the Allams.
3. Because they should have signed Gray

1. Maguire's weakness is he can be easily turned by the league's top strikers. He looked cumbersome at Sheff Utd when we played them.
