He's getting game time and being integrated into the squad/team.

I'm very pleased. I don't want us rushing him. People mate think 15-20 minutes isn't enough time but I disagree. He's learning and will be gaining confidence all the time.

I'd have preferred to see him through the middle on Sunday when he came on. But good to see that he's still playing for the u21's

I don't get this ease him in to the first team thing. The guy isn't a snot nosed teenager. He's 21 for goodness sake! There are a whole host of first team players in the PL that are his age or younger, so if he's good enough just play him FFS!

It's training with the seniors that will be most beneficial. I've no problem with his game time if he's getting it at U21 too. 20 minutes is fine by my, he's getting bled in which was all I was asking.

Yep, I totally agree with this. If they are good enough, then they are old enough. Like West Ham starting the season with a 16 year old <ok>

The only thing is who would you play him in front of now?

He's raw mate, by no means perfect. We're finally dealing with him right imo. He's got a lot of learning to do and we've now got some cracking players on the training ground to learn from as well. He should be utilized not relied upon. The fact we don't need to rely on him is better for him imo. He was brought on at 0-0 so there's faith in his ability right there.

I don't think he's ready to be playing 90 minutes week in, week out. I'd prefer him to be introduced slowly. Not looking at his age, looking at where he is in his development. I think he looks very raw and ideal to act as an impact sub though.

I get that mate, at the same time there's been a lot of 16 and 17 year olds thrown into the first team over the years, in this league and have nailed down a first team place. I wouldn't start him now simply because we have better out there at the moment, if we didn't then I would chuck him straight in the first team. I know DA has faith in him as well, I wasn't questioning that fella. In fact, I was probably not even going on about Watmore really, just youngsters in general.
