I like the bit (in the intro) where he's pleased to see Katharina more involved. He said he didn't see much of her....understandable as she lost her father and was no doubt buried under business.

Whilst I didn't think he deserved to be sacked, because he had earned the chance to grow with the club, I'm not sure he was what we needed for the next step. However, I loved the guy and I am so happy that the club has taken the opportunity to say thanks by acknowledging his massive contribution. I prefer our new style of paying respect to ex-Saints.

His willingness to take part is also a quiet comment on a decent man.

And he mentioned Nicola's name without spitting on the floor. :)

It's another example of the man. Whereas supporters have a tendency to act like a herd, mooing at the last good/bad thing, Nigel realised that he'd been presented with a golden opportunity, and saw the whole job in a positive light. Now who's the more balanced in their thoughts, Him or the supporters.? :)

Bit choked at points in that; I'd forgotten how much happened. What a star of a bloke Nigel is.

I've no doubt it will remain after the U21 for anyone to access at any time.

Yes, I found it affecting. Nigel was the perfect man at the right time. I remember one thing that Nicola said about his sacking and that was that right up to the end, he had absolutely no problem with Nigel, but that the momentum of improvement was slowing. He acted before the momentum stopped. Now, for whatever reason, he chose a manager who had no intention of staying if Nicola had moved on, and when that happened it was only a matter of time. The momentum is still there, Ronald is now here, and Saints have progressed through a huge amount of improvement in the shortest realistically imaginable time. And as I keep saying, the best is yet to come.

Easily my favourite online film/video which the club has produced.

    Thank you Nigel. Love you.

Guly. Forte. Connolly. Hammond. Some great memories there too. Had not realised Hammond was 'moved on' - thought it was his choice for regular first team football. Oh well.

I think the tribute rights the wrong a bit over the way he was dismissed. And with only 2 years left on Ron's contract - who knows.... ......nah, never go back. It's never the same second time round.....

'The end vision is to get to the top 10 of the Premiership'

Who realistically thought that was a possibility when he said that 5 years ago? Not me, that's for sure.
