I think WHU are going to deal with them quite comfortably. Then again, this is a less certain Premier League so far this season. All the better for it too.

Confirmed tapping up that some of us already greatly suspected.

Here's another thing I have always suspected. Liverpool got Lambert in to get Lovren and Twatbeard all the easier, because Rickie would have broken the ice for them. It's a plausible reason why Rickie barely got a game. He was never going to get much of a look-in. Well it backfired on Liverpool in almost every way. Clyne is probably going to be their best buy from us.

I was nearly right. He can join a team in a different country, however as Beefy posted earlier, he needs to appeal to FIFA for special permission to join a team in same country. Allegedly, you enter your appeal and send in the forms in a big brown envelope, handed over in the underground car park beneath FIFA Headquarters ....

 

Just bought a ticket for the Leicester game....unlike many, I tend to buy tickets not for the big sides but where I hope we will win. That worked out really well with Everton. Then I looked at where Leicester are in the league....are they the new Saints? Good start to season.

 

No, we are the new Saints. We're going to be just fine this season, but we're going to edge up the league all season rather than down.

It will be interesting seeing Mahrez, Tadic is great at going to lengths to bamboozle defenders to find space to cross, but I think Dusan could learn something from the directness and subtle economy of movement in which Mahrez goes round players, or finds space to shoot, because I think he's capable of it. See Mahrez's goal against Spurs.

If Leicester had dropped, we may have gone for Mahrez. We were looking at him.

 

Been very impressed with him, with his running at defences. He's got the skill and confidence to back it up too.

 

Just catching up with yesterday's paper, I note that Mourinho had a run in with Martinez after the loss to Everton. Apparently he swore at him in front of the press for not being allowed to have the first interview, despite Martinez saying he had no control over it. As he stormed off, Martinez remarked that Mourinho had been such a nice man when Chelsea beat Everton 6-3 last season. Never really liked Mourinho, even though he has entertainment value. I just don't understand how his world can have fallen apart just 5 games into the season after winning the title. If he is such a good manager, why is he panicking?

 

There's a video of the remarks. Includes swear words [bleeped out], the lot. Just type Mourinho, Martinez swears, or some such keywords into Google. I'm sure it'll pop up.

I do like Mourinho, to be honest, but it's the first time I've seen him out of control of the situation. He knows something has gone badly wrong, but he either can't work it out and/or there's nothing he can do about it immediately, and it's driving him up the wall. Anybody will be at their worst when they lose control exactly when they need it most, under tense situations. I back him to sort it out though.

 

Gosh.! That's unusual news for Wilshere. Such an unbreakable chappie normally.

 

The problem he has is that the fibula gives way everytime a member of the opposition comes close to him.
