I struggle awarding either centre half and the keeper a '6' - when collectively they all contributed to piss poor defending/goalkeeping for the Brighton goal. Another recurring theme in the City defence and goal.
The current championship managers are Gary rowett - Birmingham Gary bowyer - Blackburn Neil Lennon - Bolton Marinus dijkhuizen - Brentford Chris Hughton - Brighton Steve cotterill - Bristol Sean dyche - burnley Russell slade - Cardiff Guy Luzon - Charlton Paul clement - derby Kit Symons - Fulham Chris Powell - Huddersfield Mick McCarthy - ipswitch Uwe rosler- Leeds Aitor karanka- Middlesbrough Karl Robinson - MK Dons Dougie freedman- notts forest Simon Grayson - PNE Chris Ramsey - QPR Steve Clarke - reading Steve Evans - Rotherham Carlos Carnvahal - sheff wed Kenny jacket - wolves From that list id take Sean dyche and Chris Hughton. Russell slade not a bad manager either

Interesting for me is if I had to choose one at gunpoint to replace Bruce, nobody has yet mentioned the 3 I'd consider in McCarthy, Cotterill and Rowett.
What an odd game. We really were bloody awful for the first half hour: all over the place. A dreadful goal to concede allowed Brighton to play as if they were happy to settle for for a point away to a top side and we tapped it around as if we were two nil up at home. The truth is we were just not capable of producing a moment of brilliance to penetrate a very well organised and energetic Brighton midfield, for which they do deserve credit. Good points? Everything apart from the football, really. Brighton's not a bad place to visit. Best new stadium I have been to...free public transport worked really well. Great decorum shown by 892 City fans during the pre-match ceremonies and a decent reaction to Liam Rosenior. There was a significant number of fans applauding the team off...despite everything. However, I'm getting fed up of being part of a plucky and loyal away support watching capable players putting in such a negative performance. Only player I thought played a little better than the minimum I expect was Michael Dawson. On the day, Bruce was right to bring on Huddlestone to replace Meyler, irrespective of yellow card or injury. So disappointed in Elmo. On a positive note (well, less negative), we contained Lua Lua.
Our defence worked well as a unit, but beyond that, the rest of the squad looked as if they had met for the first time the day before. Our weakness seems to be in the mindset of the players when they step over the line. Totaly agree.
