    Warning I may post pissed!

    Ok warning out the way!
It's just gone 3:30 here & im taking in some American Football on several different screens showing several different games! If only Saturday afternoons could be like this in England!
Having a few beers before I go to the Citrus Bowl to watch the game! Could be dangerous as the kick off isn't until 7pm. I'm looking forward to my first "soccer" game! Wearing my City shirt of course!
If anyone's interested I'll keep you updated with the score if a) I'm not too pissed or b) battery doesn't die!
    Enjoy your weekend!

I think I'm in the supporters section? Whatever the **** that is? Cheap seats basically I think! Should be one of the ends from the Stadium map! I think I'll start moving after this latest beer!
    I do a lot of thinking apparently!:1980_boogie_down:<cheers>

Not sure about bars in the area otherwise would be in the general vicinity by now!

Id be shocked if there werent a bunch of bars by the stadium. I have never seen a stadium that didnt have bars really close. If you dont like the NFL the NE vs Toronto game is on ESPN. Im sure you could have someone change a TV for you. That is if you want to watch that much MLS in one day.

There are no bars near the ground, I went in June, $11 for a can of Heineken $12 for a pint, that's £8

Just bought a bud light & chicken tenders & fries $8 & $12 $20 total! Can drink in the stands, very open, entertainment outside.
In the end with a giant screen above it!
This sign should be in every English stadium!

Of course you can drink in the stands, where else would you drink? You know you can just sit in the stands and the beer dude will walk buy and hand you a beer.

He better go piss for me as well then!
I can't believe what I'm about to write but we need to Americanise our own game. Pre kick off & a much better atmosphere than at the KC!
Oh BTW Ellewoods, in England you can't drink in the stands only where you can't see the game!
Just seen the beer guy but $3 more than if I get off my fat arse & get one from the concessions!

Yea the beer guy tends to cost a few more bucks. That's dumb you all can't drink in the stands, I had no idea you couldn't. You all really need to change that.

I'm glad you are having a good time. I'm looking for you but haven't seen you yet. What side of the supporters club section are you in?

So 1-0 halftime & 3-1 full time! Missed the 3rd goal but overall it didn't really inspire me to watch MLS despite the crowd being far superior to English home games!
If we can get that at the KC then we'll do better! I just couldn't get the same thing as I get with HCAFC! Or even English football in general!
Overall crowd was brilliant, football was ok!

Back at base, there were moments of decent football, Colin at the back for Orlando was a Goodison player, made good tackles then got excited when he realised he had the ball & boot it!
Kansas got excited when they got in the box or even close!
Orlando is one of those places that gets a lot of outside support, I met supporters from: Stkoke, Villa, Rangers, Celtic,Utd & City!
Basically Orlando & the supporters are great but the game is in the infancy! Both teams wanted to play it on the deck, but not consistently!

It doesn't help they play on astro turf either. It causes problems with the ball speed and how it bounces on the pitch. Things like miss placed passes and people booting the balls into the stand are more common place especially if the other team normally plays on regular turf. I imagine the new Orlando stadium will be regular turf as the stadium they are currently playing in is an old college football stadium I believe.

I don't know about a AstroTurf, but when he sees that about the sign, standing and drinking in the stands, it certainly seems like Castro's turf.

It's odd that they do that in litigate crazy US, but seem to fear it here, but mainly only for football.
