United were a class above pool yesterday but both are not as good as in their hey days. Both managers are mediocre to the likes of Fergie and shanks. both are miles behind Man city today......

I would say he wasn't available then, largely down to Monaco still being in the Champions League. Once that changed, we made an offer they couldn't refuse. Its that simple Treble.

Had you said that at the end of last season I would have laughed, but it must be said City have had a very good start this season and everybody else just looks average.
My one conselacian in this is remembering United winning our first 10 games at the start of a season (under Atkinson) and still not winning the league

City often start strong. It will be interesting to see how they do once the Champions League games start. There record in that isn't good and cab often have an adverse effect in the league.

Still a long way to go though. Chelsea will come around and the usual suspects will be up there.

 

So you didn't say we've been controlling games all season? Someone posted it on the match thread on our board and you sniffed it, picked it up and ran with it for the next hundred pages. So... we're not controlling games then?

5 games in plus two in Europe. I would say we've controlled the vast majority of those games.

Control doesn't mean dominated either. This is another jump that you have seemingly made.
