The rain stopped, the sun came out and we now know that New Bay stays. Could he be another Rail Link?
I was drinking this cheeky little number yesterday evening: http://www.petites-folies-wines.com/petites-folies-en.html Very, very tasty - exceptionally fruity, almost like drinking molten blackberries. Superb.
Not often you get Merlot the dominant blend with Cab. Sounds good Oddy..plenty of body obviously..just the dart for my dinner. Imperial Rioja Reserva for me tonight.
Toppy don't be silly..the Derby second is the Arc winner...although Gosdo says he going for the CS..strange. One thing is definite..GH will be nowhere Longchamp on Arc day after that.
I think you can look that one up under procession. Had to take a picture when they were 200 metres from the finish to get anyone else in it. Must be odds-on for the big one.
Quite interested to see how MINDING fairs as the Ballydoyle 2nd string today. The pair of them are nice but this is the first time they encounter some softer ground.
Treve best price 5/4 with Betfair for the Arc. Lots of EVS, Hills shortest of the big bookies at 4/5. New Bay as shorts as 4/1.
I think you can kiss your fiver on England goodbye Dex. Time for me to pop open a bottle of Tegernseer Spezial
Do they have a deep grass cover there? Always seems the going description takes along time to change. French racing is synonymous with soft ground..their soft is our good so to speak.
Very nice filly there..almost as though the jockey didn't want to pass the flagship..that wasn't supposed to happen imo. What a pedigree Minding has...wouldn't write off the second just yet...firm ground filly.
