    The thing about technology is that it is always going to improve, so being opposed to goal line technology is just being short sighted [oops, sorry]. When it was introduced in the present form it was easily good enough. Thing is, it could have been used since Instant Replay video, and that has been available for over 50 years, although it wasn't affordable back then, so let's say 30 years for an affordable Instant Replay system with precision pause, variable slow motion and a goal line camera [as SKY were using in that clip].

    Instead of which we kept hearing that well worn myth that decisions even themselves out over a season. <laugh>

    I think Saints have got more iffy decisions in their favour in the last couple of years than have gone against us...definitely in credit (yes, I am talking about you, Fonte).

    Observational only....not scientific. :) However, Fonte definitely has got away with grappling in the area......sorry, my mind wandered then:rolleyes:

    I read that Wycombe Wanderers have taken to wearing GPS units under the kits during matches.

    They actually had a 7 minute delay in kick-ff the other day while waiting for permission to come through from the Football League. I think this is a very good and innovative move for teams like WW, who need every bit of edge they can get. Many squads wear GPS trackers during training, but I wonder how long it will be before PL teams start wearing them during matches. FIFA have allowed it, The FL have too, so how long will it be before the PL go with the flow.?
