The decision to elect Corbyn as party leader is a ****ing disaster for this country, as it virtually ensures another term for the Tories beyond 2019. I'd wager Cameron et al opened a nice bottle tonight and puffed on a quality Cuban. ****ing tragic.

I don't know the full story on Corbyn from what I do know, I sure as hell would never vote for him. <ok>
(or labour whilst he's in charge)

I'm a centrist. I tend to not vote by party but he would scare me into voting conservative.

Tory politician looking to complain against Newsnight for grilling him over whitewashing the Saudi crimes in Yemen. Of course the fact the Saudis fund his trips there and no doubt provide him with lavish surroundings has nothing to do with the fact he lies his arse off abou what the Saudis are doing
They are killing civilians by the score but they buy millions worth of UK weapons so, carry on.

Just a cursory perusal of the Tory press is quite amusing, but the one that stands out is Michael Fallon warning us that our families are under immediate threat of Russian invasion if we dare even talk about not having a nuclear submarine system that we can't actually use unless the USA that sold it to us gives us permission. This is the same Michael Fallon, I must add, who as Transport Secretary before the election trumpeted up this pie-in-the-sky nonsense of a "Northern Powerhouse" built around an upgraded TransPennine rail route, whilst all the time having in his (and Osbourne's) hands several reports that Network Rail were so much in deficit that they couldn't even start such a programme for at least a decade. Two-faced. lying **** (ie, Tory).

Without 50 Scotland seats they're not getting in anyway. May as well be honest about it. I voted for Burnham, but the only thing a Kendall or Cooper victory would have done is give us a Tory lite opposition as opposed to a Labour opposition. Either way, it would be opposition for 10 years, so we may as well differentiate now.

The only reason the Daily Mail is not saying "Hitler was a socialist like Corbyn" is because the Fail does not want to taint Hilter's memory ;)

Cameron tweeting that Corbyn is a threat to national security. And so it begins <doh> TBH there's a line you don't cross but that remark there by Cameron has not only crossed that line but is also a fcking disgrace.

I literally was just reading this, you can't make this **** up.
    http://www.theguardian.com/politics...ctory-reaction-snp-green-tory-lib-dem-parties

"he's a terrorist sympathiser" the Torys say yet the Tory gov armed IS aka Syrian rebels from 2012 to 2014 and still provide them with support.. the good terrorists, not the bad ones apparently so it's fine.

Lets not forget the biggest fermenter of terrorism in the world Saudi Arabia and other gulf states.. all nice and cosy paying expenses for Tory members to go to Saudi Arabia eexpenses covered lavaish accomodations awaiting.

    Give me a ****ing break.

NeoLiberals fear Corbyn, even the likes of the Royal family fear the likes of Corbyn because he could gain power and that scares them more than anything.

Historians write little about how the Russian revolution scared the **** out of the European plutocracy and Monarchies... this was why Germany and the Nazis were invested in and restored so as to be a bulwark against the spread of the Russian revolution. The last thing they wanted the plebs to think was "we can just take our **** back by force".

Not that there are any similarities between today and then in Russia, obviously not, but people taking part in running their own country is the last thing politicians corporations and monarchies want to see, it scares them ****less to see people actually take responsibility for their own society because it means they lose control and in many ways become redundant.

Yeah, a bit like the cheek of this ex-terrorist wanting the NI Assembly suspended due to the threat of terrorism.

This is Tory. Expanding anti terrorism laws into the classroom, Christians sticking to their religious beliefs should be addressed by anti terrorism laws. See, once they get the laws in, they expand the meaning, eventually the laws will cover any type of dissent against the state or it's machinations.

Tory MP: use anti-terror powers on Christian teachers who say gay marriage is ‘wrong’
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/pol...n-teachers-who-say-gay-marriage-is-wrong.html

Yeah I don't agree with teachers teaching that stuff, and it should not be allowed, but, anti terrorism laws?

According to YouGov research, the outspoken Labour MP jeremy Corbyn is one of the most popular public figures in the country – while David Cameron is the most hated.

The media give the impression Corbyn is not popular at all and is just "fringe". There is a reason why they do this, to make the average Labour Joe believe that there is no point supporting a lost cause.

Exactly what they did to the extremely popular Ron paul when he faced Mitt Romney for a chance to run against Obama.

Bit of a twist in the claims Corbyn will guarantee Labour wont get elected for decades.

it could be that labour voters were sick of the lame neoliberal corporate banker butt muchers Labour became and Corbyn represents a step back towards true labour in their eyes.

Certainly possible he can steal back voters who were labour and voted Tory, who wouldn't after blair and brown, only now those voters realise Cameron is Blair\Brown on steroids
