Because being a Liverpool fan is different to being a fan of any other club. It's like being part of a family. You may be in the company of strangers but you know you're with your own people. Anfield is a catheeeeeeedral. Etc. Repeat ad nauseum.
Quinn is typical of the deluded plassie kopite. He luvs da club la, hez a fan yanno. Of course he is Micky, you fat ****ing mess.
He even touched the badge on the tunnel stairs, that 100% proves it. The bloke is a ****ing bellied, an utter joke. He was even still tripping out the one about how we'll struggle to get fourth as the squad is average etc. etc. etc. The squad is average! He's like a stuck record, he should set up home with that equally laughable **** Paul Merson.
Suarez loved Liverpool so much he couldnt wait to get out the moment he realised they were going nowhere #clublegend right there for you! It's an attempt to make the club seem important but comes across as desperate when there's no need for it. Cringeworthy tbh. Klopp has about as much affinity with LFC as he does Brentford FC tbh.
Stevie GBH ripping into Rafa again. Said he was "stupid" for felling Alonso, especially for as little as £30million. I suspect it's not that clear cut and that not only did Rafa want Alonso gone (remember he tried to sign Gary Barry) but Alonso also wanted to leave. Interesting though that Gerrard is taking the opportunity to stick the knife into Rafa. He clearly despises him which is understandable.
Interesting the media giving as much stick to Brenda as to LVG. The press negativity to United has been relentless since the transfer window. It seems they are now turning their attention to Brenda and to Maureen, as United are getting some good news. Brenda we knew was clueless, both in his recruitment and his tactics, He seems to crumble whenever faced with a high profile manager. It only now that some of their fans delusion is starting to dissipate Maureen's plight shows yet again how SAF was a freak of nature and that United's dominance of the premiership with consecutive titles was abnormal. After winning the title, the chav players have lost all drive and passion. To be honest Maureen's task is massive and he is in danger whether he likes it or not. Tweaking here and there just won't do it. It needs a huge change. 11 points will become 13 points adrift in a weeks time and will get worse and worse. And I honestly can see the chavs out of the CL places at the end of the season. The danger will not just come from the top teams but from the likes of Everton, Spurs, Saints, Swansea, Newcastle, Leicester who can all now smell blood.
The stick that Brendan is openly getting is long overdue from a generally Liverpool loving football media. The season he's having so far is still more convincing than the mess of last season including their poor form in the CL. And yet by xmas there was NO pressure or spotlight on him by the press and certainly no mention of him being sacked. I'm actually concerned by the furore with which the press are attacking him. He actually could be sacked if this gains momentum, which wouldn't be good.
Mourinho is getting it worse though. I'm fairly sure he'll be gone first. Both look on borrowed time and both will be helped out the door by the media. Makes a change for it not to be a United manager. Long may it continue!
I still think the ex-livpl players (who drive the football media in this country) are only now pushing for his sacking bcos the fans are. If the fans were backing him, the press would be quiet as ****.
I doubt that, Rodgers is just killing us at the moment and it's there for everyone to see the media are bound to comment on the non performances from the start of the season.
