1-1 draw. Know nothing about what happened in the game but heard we were ****e. I said before the game that we always seem to lose when everything starts to look positive so I'd be happy (not delighted mind you) if we avoided defeat and we did. There still sounds like there are some obvious issues in the team but you have to say its a work in progress and every team plays badly once in a while throughout the season.

Let's do maths with what we have rather than what you think will happen ( price of petrol and value of euro show how that goes).

We have 8 points from 6 games. That's 1.3points per game, extrapolate that over 46 games would give us 61-62 points. As I said no progress is visible in the team.

I never want us to lose but this "unbeaten" run is masking a lot of issues. Instead of concentrating on how we haven't lost we should be looking at how we have only won one from seven competitive games added to how badly results went preseason.... Stop deluding yourself.

I have to agree, the unbeaten run is masking a few concerns, again two defeats and we are going to look awful with one win in 8 or two wins and we will still be unbeaten and knocking on a play off spot.

Trying to remain positive there were a couple of games Wigan being the last where we should and could have been 4 points better off.

Despite the odd mistake I am pretty happy with our defence, the odd goal here and there is expected, it is up front where you don't fancy us scoring twice too often.

If you have a penalty taker who misses from the spot 2-3 consecutive times you change them, Mowatt continues to take absolutely awful corners yet we stick with him?

Byram is offering nothing to the team yet we don't drop him and we still haven't given Erwin a chance, surely wide out left and Dallas right has to be better than what Byram is offering?

I am starting to wonder about Rosler, in his favour his substitutions are spot on, which leaves me wondering why his initial team selection isn't always quite right

With the players we have we are being set up too negatively... But I am not convinced that Rosler is making the decision on formation and playing style.the everyone back for a corner scenario is bloody stupid. Keep one player on halfway stops three opposition defenders getting into the six yard box and gives us an out if we win the ball.... It's not rocket science.

You did not acknowledge how many points you said we would have after 7 games I will remind you 3 so on that basis you must be pleased we have at least 8
Euro will go south and petrol will be les than a £ it may not have happened yet but it will and I have documented why in many articles you see this lad is not for changing now where have I heard that before!.You sit on your gloom stool pontificating on how badly we are doing as I said many times Silvestri will have his ups and downs sure he is not the finished article yet but I still think he his a fine shotstopper
I also said Taylor would be the cream of the crop Mowatt and Byram if you looked at the team I picked for yesterday were both on the bench I think they both need dropping
I have no doubt we will get a settled team so results are not masking anything as its too early to say
I do agree about how we both defend and attack corners .We have possibly the tallest squad in the league yet we are hopeless at set pieces this needs addressing

You already said how many points I suggested we might have. You don't normally need any confirmation to remind us all how right you are. Silvestri could be as good as lev Yashin at stopping shots but for as long as he can't Come for a cross, organise his defence, or kick in the intended direction he ain't good enough to be our number 1.

Thing with playing 4-3-3 Jock is, we seem to be reverting to the plan B quite a bit, which means, and shows that plan A is not exactly working; 8 year old kids learn that on video games, if we have to revert to plan B a lot then it's obvious to a blind man that plan A is not the way forward.

We're drawing a lot with 1 win, and we have problems in midfield, which ever angle you look at it from. Last year we had same midfield problems after Redders took over, and apart from Adayemi, the midfield ain't changed, it's a "look for the common denominator" situation. Adayemi actually brought a bit of spring to midfield showing the others how it's done.

Bellusci seems to be able to blend with either Bamba or Cooper, for me we need him in our defence, whatever the pairing; we can't forget that Bamba is 31 years old and is in a defence that has extra pressure put on'em by our lack of midfield support and stability. Warnock was 33 when he left, replays were showing he struggled to get back as the game wore on, despite people claiming he was allegedly our best player (which I disagreed with). Warnock left and Taylor took over, Warnock was soon forgotten as Taylor was a much better LB, and with younger legs. Warnock can't get into the Derby side.

I don't have a problem with any attitude that Bellusci has as long as it doesn't go over top, we need players with attitude, and not complacency.

Antenucci has made 6 appearances and scored 3 goals while creating 3 chances, he's only played 1 full match, when he comes on he adds to the game, let's be realistic, Rosler brings him on for obvious reasons.

Wood has played 6 full games for 3 goals but only has a 19% shot accuracy while Antenucci has a 56% shot accuracy, which is pretty good for a regular sub; shouldn't Wood be up around the 50 to 70% figures as a regular starter? Obviously it's still early in season, but while being unbeaten we're not scoring easy and not playing whizz bang wallop football yet. I suspect Wood is a Rosler favourite, mainly because he brought him in.

Lucas Monk said, Antenucci must be a pain in backside to mark cos he moves around a lot, he creates space for himself, I think that's one of the big differences between him and Wood at moment. Antenucci is a right footed striker, yet has scored 2 great goals with his left boot.

While we're playing 1 up front, we're playing the same/similar formation as Redders did with his 2 super strikers of Morison and Sharp, who have both gone, we're also playing similar football with very similar results meaning, Rosler hasn't really improved anything yet.

I support Rosler, he still has my backing at moment, but if he goes down same road as Redders, then we're going to get the same type of football and results with very little improvement, eventually the fans will see it.........:emoticon-0148-yes:

we've played 4 teams that we played last season.Reading,Wednesday,Derby and Brentford.3 of them teams are stronger than last season, and last season we won 1,drew 1,and lost 2 and got 4 points. This season we have won 1,drew 3,lost none for 6 points.50% more points against better teams. Not conclusive proof of us being a better team but another little fact that with others will eventually prove to the wrist slashers.

The only stat that matters is the points on the board. They don't back up your assertion.

When it comes to opinions mine are the same as last year. Goalie is a liability due to his known failings, and it doesn't matter how many creative midfielders we have if we don't support our defence and win some midfield ball. First ten minutes yesterday was tippy tippy stuff that took far too long to move upfield. Arsenal have a team of superstars and even they can't make it work.

We have to earn the right to play before going all pretty. This is the championship not the greed is good league.

Forest, Derby, Wolves all behind us. Are their seasons to be written off too. Seem to remember someone here professing Derby were certainties for promotion. Looks like we mightnt be too bad at all.

Derby seem to be finding their feet now. New manager, new players and now improving of late.
Even Forest and Birmingham are starting to get going.

Boro and Burnley seem to be back on track.

Unfortunately results against teams from last season don't have any bearing on this season. As a for instance we won't beat some teams we beat last term, and we will beat some we failed to beat last year. The league table is a comparison on what happens this year and thus far my point remains all too accurate.

I know you see it in black and white terms where you are positive and I am negative. But the stats don't back up your positivity so far this season..... If they ever do I will be the second to tell you. Mike will be the first!

From day 1 I have said I like the players we have, the backroom staff, academy staff (Now) The board ...... my only worry has been Rosler and but for 1 decent result hasn't showed us anything. Does he know what he's doing, can he set the team up to win, can he change the tactics when things go wrong? I will give him another couple of games but he needs to show what he can do soon

I think you may have misunderstand my comments a little Chesh.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

We ain't playing bad football, but it's not brilliant football, we don't seem to be playing the up and at'em quick fire passing and breaking that Rosler talked about.

For me the midfield problem is continual and needs addressing very very soon.

However, we can't keep drawing, playing catch up or let the opponents in for a draw every game, or we ain't going to move up very much.

Our striker/s need more venom, and the Cobras head should be striking from midfield so the strikers can put the onion in the onion bag more often, and quicker.
