What are you suggesting - that Corbyn would eat your children and then give the Falklands to the Argies? <laugh>

Just seen Corbyn on the news coming out to all his supporters who were all holding up banners saying 'refugees welcome here'

That is something I will draw my own conclusions from him.

I hate him and his policies already.

Hmmm and like Turkeys Labour supporters have voted for an early Christmas. To stand any chance of winning an election you have to be credible - it's one thing to preach to the converted at party conferences quite another to Middle Britain.

I've never seen such political suicide since PW Botha gave the black folk the vote in South Africa.

You just about nailed it mate...I have been campaigning strongly against Corbyn being chosen as I am totally against his stance on defence and immigration. I also think that many of his economic proposals are unworkable, although I'm all for renationalisation of the railways and utilities. I have backed Yvette Cooper who is a very astute economist and very good at thinking on her feet during debates.
All in all it was a pretty bad day for me, although I will stand by the party and expect the PLP to totally water down many of Corbyn's more extreme proposals. My greatest fear is his history of being a bit too friendly to terrorist groups such as the IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah which will make him a sitting duck for the many snipers lining up to shoot him down..

He's a veggie so no to the first. But I have absolutely no doubt he'd gift wrap the Falklands to Argentina given the opportunity. And Gibraltar to Spain. Jersey to the French and Lindisfarne to the Dutch <laugh>

He'll give up our nukes, pull out of NATO and dismantle the armed forces. Well why have them? He's not going to fight anyone!

At home he'd re-open old mines, coz God knows, those private sector profit oriented companies couldn't make them run properly. And there aren't enough men dying of the dust in the numbers they used to so let's bring back black lung and pneumoconiosis like we used to have in the good old days.

He'd re-nationalise the rail system to get them running back like they were in the 70's.

Ah, the 70's. Pans People, hot summers, winters of discontent, unburied dead and blackouts.

    Erm.... worrying!

Looking at some of his proposals, the guy seems outdated. I hope for his sake he's got good advisors around him who he's willing to listen too.

For his stance on defence and immigration alone, I'm out mate.

I honestly believe he will be out within two years once it becomes obvious that it has been a big mistake..

****ing hell, spot on that like.
Scary isn't it? It's like some kind of future vision of George Orwell's 1984 or Animal Farm.
Imagine if he wanted to re-open Wearmouth colliery?
That would be our club ****ed. How we gonna kick off with a ****ing pit shaft in the centre circle?
I'll have to get on to the FA about this.

They'd have to sink a shaft in the middle of the new housing estate in Shiney Row! <yikes>

Mind, we'd get enough spoil for another dry ski slope, so that's good innit?

Proposals? Looks more like a bucket list for the unrealistic things you want to achieve before you pop your clogs; in other words it's a one way trip to Neverland - I can sense the tabloids smelling blood in the water and itching to hit the ground running on Monday.

I also read the other day that there's gonna be a new series of Citizen Smith. Coincidence? I don't think so :emoticon-0126-nerd:
