He's never really managed to get a proper run in the side at Liverpool, their fans don't rate him and he's now got to compete with the likes of Can, Coutinho, Milner, Firmino and Ibe to get in the side.

So, the question is.... would you have him back? Purely hypothetical of course

He's burnt his bridges here as far as I'm concerned.

Incidentally, notice the difference in reception between Lambert & Lallana.

I think the squad could use both of them at the moment. Apart from Norwich and the Villa game in May, we've look laboured in front of goal for about 6 months.

But yeah, he'd need to shave that thing off his face and start over again with the fans.

Its never the same 2nd time around, there's an old saying in footer about never returning to your former club and its come about for very good reason.
So its a no for me.

No chance. I didn't rate him as highly as most even when he was here. Too little end product for me.

Juninho might have something to say about that :emoticon-0110-tongu

Steven Pienaar and Dean Hammond are good recent examples of players who left in bitter circumstances, only to come back with their tails between their legs and win the fans back over.

I should point out that I'm not pushing for this to happen! Just a hypothetical thought

Maybe. Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Especially someone who's been with the club for so long. But it would depend, of course, if he had the right mentality, which I doubt he will ever have.

Stupid question, but what did he actually do? I know he fell out with the club but what actually happened?

And you think they'd improve us.? I'm in shock. Players like them do not take us to the next step.

They'd certainly improve the squad. Mane is our only player right now who's capable of unlocking defences by being unpredictable. Lallana, for his sins, was capable of the same. Lambert would put some pressure on Pelle if nothing else and add depth.
