A wonderful evening, especially because I was really expecting a **** evening. I know, I should have more faith. Wonderful because the new boys performed well, we now have two dangerous players so that if they double-mark Redmond they set free Wes and vice versa, and it seems that the Grabban saga, whether there is no truth in the gossip or lots of truth, is not going to have an effect on our side. Many drinks down, I'm off to bed here in Singapore. Thank you yellows!
Naughty, Thai. But we're only squeezed between the minnows Man U and Liverpool, whereas they're squeezed between the might of QPR and Reading.
Very much agree with this, except that the ratings were Rob's not Munky's. Brady's block tackle to deny a goal was world class. At least a 7 and if his his shot into the bottom right hand corner had gone in it would have been more. Their GK made a fantastic one-handed save. I'd have also rated Redmond at 5 as he just wasn't there for much of the match. Would expect to see both Brady and Jarvis against Liverpool, as Jarvis can also play WR. He seems to be a great signing after that!
Brady was very good today - brilliant last ditch tackle to nick the ball off Wilson's toe in the first half when he looked odds on to score. He improves with every game and his link play with Jarvis was a delight at times today. Deffo 8 from me.
could not get up to norwich today,so my daughter used my ticket. typical! looks like i missed a great performence from the lads, although i had such a poor link i hardley saw any of the match. looking foreward to motd. brady looks like a fantastic signing, and we seemed a lot more solid at the back. feeling a lot more positive tonight than after the soton game
What a result!!! Just having a day with the gf so only just been able to check my phone! I'm so happy and stunned. I was very worried about today, but went for a 1-1. That's fantastic. Can't believe Jarvis scored on his debut! So happy CJ got his first allowed goal. This has given me such a smile.
*Top geyser alert* Bradley Johnson @BradJohnson15 Happy to see Norwich win today too - heard the little magician Wes was superb today keep going lads
Which goes to suggest that he didn't slink off with his tail between his legs (or anyone else's). I'm sure he'll be a great signing for Derby and his effort and determination are just what they need to make the difference in a promotion push.
