No, I think he was a bit of a t**t at times and he could have done better,;I should have put that he helped us stay up, but also he was part of a team that had put us there in the 1st place. The magical momentum of those last few games of that season should have been taken into the next....but it didn't and the fans were treated to another goal drought another season of misery and disappointment. I was merely trying to say that there seems to have been a fundamental problem in our team, which has manifested itself in that lack of goals, because, for the life of me, I cannot understand how that we have had so many strikers that cannot score. I hope and KTF that DA has nailed the problem and that we move onwards & up. Mind this could happen today if the mags and Stoke lose heavily, that would be a nice start, lol.

Strikers don't score many these days though mate, goals have to come from everywhere. We need forwards who can actually play and contribute in build up. Considering our options last season consisted of CW, SF, DG, AJ and Jozy, it think this seasons collection of Lens, Defoe, Ola, Borini, Watmore, AJ, SF & DG is a vast, vast improvement.

Glad he's enjoying his time at Palace - not even on the bench (never mind the wing) today.

Speaking of former strikers, Ryan Noble, 'next big thing' just signed for Shields having gone through about 6 clubs in a year. What the **** is that all about!

Our managers were slated for not giving him and laing more game time... Shows that while they seem clueless they actually know far more than us.

Apart from Poyet. He had all the talent and knowledge of a monkey fart.

Julio :emoticon-0100-smile was noticable better than anybody else on the pitch for 'Sheels today, scoring the opener in the 1-1 draw, but, unfortunately, young Ryan was the worst player on display :emoticon-0101-sadsm . . . . and he had a few chances :emoticon-0143-smirk

I was googling Arca earlier and I was gob smacked to see he's only 34, what's the story there? Did he get a shocking injury at 'Boro to effectively end his career? We could do with a decent left back.
