Blueman-- sorry but it's my way of dealing with the misery I'm feeling tonight! Come to think of it I might just go and open a nice bottle of vin rouge instead!
At this rate it's gonna be a bit of an echo round Wembley when we move there - take a seat any seat. Lose to Tel Aviv next week and Jose will be dead man walking.
Ha ha a slip of the finger mate at any rate 40 points is the target for survival in the top flight - at the moment with us and Tottenham down at the bottom it starting to look like 1975 all over again.
Best we can hope for now is a place in the CL. What a dumb way to spiral down the ladder. Standing still in the PL is actually going backwards at a rate of knots. Now we have a real problem, do we play some kids and risk being thrashed or keep playing the duds ? Thats what happens when you dont intergrate youngsters into the team on a regular basis. When you need them, they are not ready. Bad, bad planning by Jose and his off field staff.
Our prep for this season was all wrong. After what was a very long and tiring season, where we played 60 odd games, we set off on a trip to Australia. Then we did a tour of the USA with another 4 games. The players have hardly had any off season break and then they are back into pre season training. No wonder they are all looking like OAPs!! Sorry CP no pun intended .
I had nowt to lose writing that. Fair play and congrats on the win, I'll see you in the return fixture for our next banter
Actually, despite that win, I remain deeply worried that we'll remain locked in a relegation battle with Chelsea. Who'd have thought that our first encounter this season, at the Bridge, would be a massive 6-pointer!
It looks like the battle for the Prem title is a straight slug-out between mega-rich City and lowly Leicester. The latter are putting other teams and managers to shame!
