Possibly. Neither were clear cut though. Can see what Fellaini brings though, depays been away a few times, fouled on the second one.

Good play again by us there.

Doesn't matter, the openings were there for a specialist in that position. Fellaini just fluffed another.

But that's where you're relying on a quality striker to finish. Not even take a touch. Bang straight at goal first time. Fellaini's first touch is just not good enough.

A striker guarentees nothing. None of the chances were was and its likely an out and out striker would not have scored.

Fellaini isn't going to score every chance. He's probably not going to score. He's going to be used to bring Mata and Repay into play.

Who said anything about guaranteeing? We've had 3 good openings. We've wasted all 3. A striker would have done better on at least 2 of those.

The second part I can agree with but it doesn't take away from the opportunities missed in the mean time until that happens.

How can we expect to score with Fellaini up top?

Why is it when we're running at a defence with space in front of us, we don't see the forward pass?????????????!!!!!!! And instead cut sideways or back :mad::mad:

Jesus, if we can't beat this ****e then there's really something up.

Where's the goals coming from though? Everything else is there, we need an outlet, a point of attack. Fellaini is no striker.

Opportunity number 4 now missed thanks to Fellaini. Not his fault but he's not a striker. He doesn't read the situation well enough to play that role ffs <doh>

Depay has been poor. Got into some good positions yet hasn't made a good decision yet. Hope he can improve.

Think Martial might have some joy against Liverpool's awful defence.

Agreed. We need to weigh up who's going to create more over the game - Martial or Fellaini.

That is the question. Hard to answer as we know nothing about Martial. Just feel with Liverpool's nerves, a pacey striker would have them falling apart.

Now that was poor from Fellaini.
