The press will always like big name players with UTD But what about Ronaldo, he plays the same team as Roo. Keep digging
What about Diego Costa?! 11 international caps for Brazil and Spain (that's Brazil and Spain FFS!) and he's managed one paltry goal against the mighty Luxembourg. It's obviously not quite as easy as some like to make out.
Chile were good, but they're not usually as good as they are right now. Colombia are generally average, barring the odd player. Uruguay vary between good and poor and Ecuador between average and poor, generally tending toward the latter. Argentina and Brazil are normally far, far better than everyone else in their qualifiers. Bolivia away is tricky because of their stupid altitude advantage, which needs to be sorted out. Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia at home and Peru are all relatively easy opponents, while Paraguay have been **** in recent years, too.
Nat Lofthouse got 30 goals in 33 games. The F.A have never heard of him http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-34219168
Own goal have 49 goals, a UTD player from the ranks Snubbed Chavbus for 400K a week and used Real to get a better UTD contract
He joined Arsenal in the summer and is now their top scorer. Sorry. Surprised you missed that, as he was their only outfield signing.
Bearing in mind that the FA told Hodgson to "wait and see how you do in the Euros," when he demanded a new contract, it'll be interesting to see who he puts his faith in - Rooney or Kane - to get him the goals that will save his England career, when it comes to the crunch games against the big teams.
I guess you are a dim, so I will say it slowly for you. He has scored 50 goals for England, thats a record
