Clucas is definitely a centre mid. So that team with Clucas and Meyler anchoring the midfield and Diame free to boss the game any way he chooses. Only thing is I don't like Elmo as a more advanced wide right forward in that.

that's elmos weakness he can take players on, but he needs a lot of space to do it, kicking on from the halfway line and using his extended pace and kicking the ball 20 yards infront of him he can't really do it in short space, which is why he works so well as a fullback, surely he can adapt though with davey? there's a reason they call him bronzeballs, the poor mans beckham

I've heard a whisper Luer might be starting, but that whisper might have misinterpreted 'playing' meaning coming off the bench, as 'playing' meaning starting.
I like Chazz's line up. Very disappointed that we wont see Maloney as I think he could have a big impact on the way we play, particularly with a strong speedster like Dio making the runs up front. But we'll have to wait a few weeks for that. We are going to have one hell of a MF by November with Maloney fit, Jake busting to go, and Snoddy hopefully fully fit . Throw in Diame and Elmo and the best CHs in the Championship behind them we will be tough to beat. (Oh I forgot about Thudd...why not!!). 2-1 to us tomorrow.
