One of my mates used to live in Henbury near Alderley Edge. I used to spend quite a bit of time around there when I lived in Chester in the late 90s.
Not recently. It was getting that way though! There's a road in Alderley Edge that had lots of small regular bungalows that were being hoovered up by developers to knock down and develop into ostentatious mansions - footballers pads!! The same thing happened in my village my Grandad sold his house in South Cave and they knocked it down to build a load of vomit inducing £1m pound ****e as a part of a 'gated community'. Hate it. Progress apparently.
