Forgot all about it but Reading tonking Ipswich 5-1 with less than 5 minutes to go. Quinny looked good when I turned it on, don't know how he's done for the rest of the match though. Anyway, I'm looking at Ipswich's shirt & thinking it looks familiar, so I checked, anyone else think it?
Apart from being different colours and different designs, you can barely tell them apart.. McShane was all over the shop for the Ipswich goal, but it ended up not mattering.
both Quinny and Macca played well - Macca had great game at the back but he did **** up a bit for the Ipswich goal
Shandy but to me they have a similarity, yes different design but it's the black across the top stopping about half way down the sleeve! It must be similar in some way or else I wouldn't have noticed it. Both Adidas & both from the same basic design!
Watched the game and thought both teams looked like a couple of pub teams. Ipswich could have gone top if they had of won which sums up the quality of the Championship at this stage. Neither team had a midfield and it was kick and rush throughout. McShane looked decent in the air but when asked to actually pass the ball to a team mate, erm, it was either a two yard tap to the nearest teammate or a punt into the opposition half. Quinn looked the best player in field IMO besides the Reading lad who scored a hat trick. Acres of space all over the field, almost as much as there was in the stands. City are head and shoulders better then both teams. We have nothing to fear but ourselves.
I didn't think much to either team either, but I haven't been impressed by anyone I've seen so far, us included. We've played pretty poorly so far and we're 2nd!! Just think if we start playing well!!
